Wonderful rooms for all ages. I loved my childhood room, my mother let me select the paper along with the "shag" carpet. It was such a "wow" paper, an explosive floral in shades of limes, greens and I really wish I still had a piece of that paper. The shag carpet was grass green, a melange of yarns. I remember the "new" smell of it. My Mom tells me I was very organized, lists on my bedside table and always made my bed.

For some reason at age 6, when my mother let me choose my bedroom color, I did NOT chose pink, but a soft baby blue! I loved it at the time – the walls, the carpet…my collection of Madame Alexander dolls. I'm not sure I was all that great about making my bed. Though I moved the furniture around with some regularity —- a foreshadow, perhaps?
