I will be trying to beat the heat while attending "closing ceremonies" for my son's camp tonight too. I do wish we were chillin' by the shore!!

I don't mean to be a comment hound, but the surfer thing gets me every time. I lived in Laguna Beach for a while and loved to watch their athletic "walk on water." I even took my baby to watch them, and naturally she loved it too. She would point and nod, and I would nod back. I might have to follow some surf blogs. You might never hear from me again. I'll try to stay away. Did you ever see that great movie: "Stepping into Blue."
