No matter the size of your home, window boxes always fit.
Above are my window boxes from the Spring, but I found a number of inspiring “window dressings” out there…from Parisian apartments, brownstones in Brooklyn to homes on a hill.
I also love that they are not a long-term commitment….I’ll soon be adding pumpkins, gourds and berry branches to give mine a quick change for Fall.
Do you dress your windows?

Oh my gosh, they are all glorious. I need to send you a window box I spotted in maine, I mean a photo of it.

YES, I do dress my windows! When we moved in I ordered some window boxes right away. I'm the only one in my neighborhood who has them. Thanks for validating my choice with these awesome examples!! XO, Kel
Thanks for the inspiration. I didn't realize that hydrangeas could thrive in a window box. So noted for the future.
I am love with all these images! We have tall windows along the front of our house where they pratically go from ceiling to floor…but in the back of the house…that would be divine!

Love, love, love window boxes full colorful flowers and flower/vines hanging off! We have window boxes…and I try my best…but I do not have a green thumb at all!! Take care, Caroline
pve – i would love to see the photo from Maine!
Style Attic – I love imagining flower boxes with your colorful front door!
Carole – water, water, water!
Acanthus – that's a great idea…just put them in back!

I've always
loved window
boxes….so
charming! I
am getting ready
to change out
my urns and planters
in anticipation
of autumn….
Plus, the summer
stuff is looking
a bit frazzled!
{Kind of like me,
this week!} Hope
you have a wonderful
weekend, Elizabeth!

Ever since I saw your yard/home on ER's blog last year I have been obcessed!!! I have tried to mimic your boxes, my Hydrengas just die…this Fall though, I am going to plant loads of pink tulips in all my front beds, in front of my Boxwoods. I also, do all the "Fall" stuff in the boxes too…at least I cant kill that stuff!
How pretty (and pink!) I grew up with window boxes in Belgium and Paris – such a great way to decorate the facade of a home. Have a great weekend!
xxoo

Beautiful! Window boxes are so much fun, and I love being inside too and looking out to see the "window box view". Your tip on changing them up with the season is fabulous.
Have a great weekend!

Alexis

I absolutely love flower boxes. As a matter of fact, adding one to the upstairs window is on my lists to ask about when I call my handy man for some other repairs in the next few weeks!
