Look what Mr. Mailman dropped off today — Town & Country with Tory Burch on the cover. We all know Tory’s style — chic, accessible, recognizable.
Thanks to one of my most fashionable friends, I was able to see her Fall Collection up close, under the tents at Bryant Park during Fashion Week in February.
Instead of walking a catwalk, the models were staged on a floating stage, in the center of the room. Photographers and spectators jockeyed for positions and angles. I snapped these with my iphone.
Love the camel coat with 3/4 length sleeves! And those boots!!
Also love this coat with the fur collar for more casual outings. See the pops of orange in the collection?
This red dress was a stand out on the runway.
And here it is…..now available at toryburch.com!
Are you shopping for Fall yet? Or waiting for it to all go on sale?!
xo, Elizabeth
Good morning,
Elizabeth! This
post made me
smile and think
back to all those
summers before
school started ~
through college ~
where I would pour
over the latest
fashion mags and
dream and scheme
for my fall wardrobe.
Even though I'm
not the one in
school anymore,
those magazines
at the check-out
stands still make
my pulse race with
the promise of the
new season. How
fantastic that you
got to see Tory B's
collection at
BRYANT PARK!!! {I'm
a big Project Runway
fan!} LOVE that
camel coat. Not sure
where I'd be going
in it….but wow,
fantastic : )
xx Suzanne
You are so lucky!!! Would love to see a show one day! Wish I lived closer to NYC sometimes! Love the pops of orange…and her description of her line for fall!
Every season, I try to come up with "2" outfits and make a list of what I wish for. On my list is a camel coat, and a red dress! Since we have a big renovation project to begin, my shopping has to wait.

Fun! I would love to go to a fashion show!
I havn't given much thought to my autumn wardrobe yet – once september come I will start getting summer clothes packed up and autumn clothes out and organized. Then I will see what I need. I know I never found the pants I was looking for last year so maybe that's all I need to get!
Would love to have the necklace she is wearing on the cover of Town and Country!
Love the fact that Stephen Drucker is now at the helm of T&C breathing new life into the Grande Dame! Not surprising he would put Tory on the cover with her fabulous style… Wish I had fashionable friends like you – to attend Fashion Week would be a dream come true!
How cool are you?? I "heart" Tory. Hope all is well and you are having a great summer. xx, Kate
How fun is that?!?! I too am a huge TB fan. Is it bad that I'm actually looking forward to cooler weather so I can go shopping? I'm big into the layered look…blazers + jeans = happiness for me.
BTW, I hope you don't mind I posted a photo of your beautiful tulips today on my blog. You've inspired me!
Cool post. What fun you must have had!!
P.S. I always wait for Tory to go on sale 🙂
What fun that you were there yourself. I think you need to get something before the sale to commemorate that.
Privet -Hi Suzanee! A "back to school" highlight when I was a teenager was the arrival of the thick September issue of Seventeen! I've been planning my wardrobes ever since.
Flair – it was definitely a highlight of 2010 for me. The show is being moved to Lincoln Center this year — you should put it on your wish list!
pve – how funny we are both thinking camel and red!
Suburban Princess – it is kind of tough to think layers when it is so sweltery outside!
Stitchfork – that IS a cool necklace!!!!
Buzz – Mr. Drucker is indeed putting his own imprint on the mag!
Party Resources – Hi Kate! I ♥ Tory, too!
Hi Teresa – I'm on my way to The Stamfored Wife!!
La Dolfina – Hi Terri! Smart shopper you are!!!
Mrs. Blandings – I like the way you think!
xoxo Elizabeth
Love me some Tory!

Tory Burch as fabulous style. You'll have to stop into her shop when you are in the Hamptons. I actually want to blog about her shop…need to stop by soon. I just saw a woman wearing that necklace today in Sag Harbor.
