When the house of Chanel created its jewelry line in 1993….it drew upon the most oft used images by Coco Chanel…the camellia.
You can find this ring on ebay….or a copy on most every street corner in Manhattan. A single bloom….no vase required.
Are you fond of Coco’s favorite flower?
Yes! The one little issue I have with Chanel items is the price. I am pining after a pair of the ballet flats and a new bag, but the cost…Sheesh!
Best,
Colleen
I am! I would go broko for Coco!! Why have I NEVER seen this in all my zillion trips to NYC?? Love. Have a wonderful weekend 🙂 xo, Kelly
Camellias are so pretty and delicate, with their soft scent and glossy leaves – the perfect flower I would say, just like a Chanel bag! Haven't seen that ring on the streets of NYC but will definitely look for it! So chic. Have a great weekend!

Oh, love the Chanel ring…and camellias!! So so pretty!! Have a wonderful weekend! Take care, Caroline
You know this was the inspiration for my daughter –
well the flower inspired her name. I adore gardenia's, camellia's, and stephonodis – all in a bouquet.
Lovely ring, leave it up to CC, now all I can think is your ring would be a tulip, a pretty pink one!

Love that ring! And the inspiration behind it, those images of actual camellias are gorgeous!
xx
Ah yes, I love that ring….and the inspiration behind it.
Very pretty camellias! Your pretty pink tulips will be green with envy!
I love camellias and Chanel! They are having a second bloom in some yards here in New Orleans, but alas no trees with rings blooming.

PS Happy to be on the same page regarding the fab Melissa Rufty!
Makes think of sipping a mint julep in Savannah. Have a great weekend! xx, K
We had about 20 camellia bushes of all different shapes and sizes at our old house. I always had a quick bouquet at the ready….missing my flowers. Maybe a ring will have to do instead:) –Gretchen O.
Ah camellia's… love that ring! Thanks so much for the sweet comment you left us! We're excited to contribute to the book too!

A big fan of the camellia–have you seen Coco Before Chanel? It's in my movie box to watch. Have a great weekend!
So fond, but I actually prefer peonies! Lovely though, the ceramic is so ladylike. I do miss buying knockoff bling on the streets of NYC for sure! 😉
Love camelias!
Susan
I think Coco before Chanel needs to be on my "to watch" list!
What a lovely post- nothing brightens my day like beautiful flowers! I associate camellias with my sweet grandmother as she always had them in her yard. Take care!
I am fond of most flowers and usually fond of anything Coco!
Gorgeous pictures! I have a new appreciation for the Camellias in my backyard 🙂
Camellias go beautifully in areas where it's too shady to grow roses! How great it is to see them featured so beautifully. It's nice to visit with someone else who does Flowers on Friday … mine are roses, as you would expect.

How wonderful are those flowers. They refresh my mind 🙂

My daughter's been a Chanel fan since high school…. They had an exhibit at the Art Museum in our town… It was FAB.U.LOUS… Love the camellia.
Warm blessings,
Spencer
That'd be a fun give away 🙂
I am in love with camelias! Oh, and that Chanel ring. I'm just drooling.
Thanks for an idea, you sparked at thought from a angle I hadn’t given thoguht to yet. Now lets see if I can do something with it.
