Fall floral fashions!
All of the arrangements above are from the Little Flower School in Brooklyn, NY.
They offer flower arranging classes that all end with a champagne toast! Cheers to that!!!
If you live in, near or will be visiting the Big Apple this fall, check into attending one of their classes. They fill up quickly. In fact, I think the only one with spaces still available is September 29th.
Are you a budding florist?
Ok – let's go the 29th!!!
Flowers and champagne, "twist my arm!"

I'm all about flowers! I have no idea how to arrange them. When I see people put them together in arrangements that are out of this world like you've displayed here, I am in awe!! I stick with the elementary version of usually one flower type. The color is what I love to pick out any given day 🙂 Cheers to you Elizabeth! XO, Kelly
Oh, stunning! No, but learning flower arranging is definitely on my bucket list! XX!
Love the pics and this school has been on my "must do" list for months. Now I need to go! Happy Labor Day Weekend! xx
Elizabeth,
Oh, I'm all over this! Do you want to do the 29th together? Sounds (and looks) fabulous!
Oh what fun! Sounds likes plans are in the making … enjoy.
Jo
I hope you go always looking for new ideas. I definately do better with cut flowers than those in the ground!
I wonder if the champagne is offered before or after the class! A glass of the bubbly would definitely help me in creating lovely and unstructured bouquets like these!
How about another blogger field trip on the 29th? 🙂
I'll bet that the champagne makes for an insouciant arrangement. Happy weekend.
I love their site-only wish I could attend, and VOGUE's Sept Issue says it is the new thing to-learn to arrange flowers-so It must be. Enjoy.
A day of wine and roses – fun! Sign up fast ladies so we can read all about your next blogger adventure!
I love it when y'all are up for an adventure! I have an email into Little Flower School to see if those 5 spots are still open! Back soon with details.
And, I think we have to wait until the end for the champagne. Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt with those shears!!! 🙂
xoxo Elizabeth
ps: I'll make a point to get the 2011 schedule out early next time!
Oh, how fun! That sounds like a fabulous time…and flower arranging is such a great skill to have! Take care, Caroline
I love flower arranging classes.
I always go to my friend Ron Morgan's classes… he's a true genius!
But if I lived near NY I would love to go to The Little Flower School with you 🙂
xx
perfect inspiration for a rainy day! hope you are having a lovely vacation in spite of the weather 🙂
Sounds like a great class. I am not great at flower arranging but would love to learn!
Oh, what fun! There's nothing like fresh flowers to warm any room…
So pretty. I've taken a flower arranging classes and just adored it! Wish I was in NYC so I could go – it's such a happy way to spend the day!
I wish I lived closer so I could take part in the beautiful festivities!!
Thank you for the tip! I love growing flowers and arranging them as well. I post my bouquets on my blog. I'll keep in mind those classes, when I'll visit NY this fall.
great inspiration and the cheese board makes me hungry. have a wonderful weekend xxx
The lapsed Catholic in me loves their name! The little flower was St. Theresa, a story I loved as a little girl at Holy Child. I love the inspirations and untortured arrangements. I love to arrange flowers, which led me to becoming a garden docent at the Huntington botanical gardens, a gardener, and the horticulture chairman of my little garden club in Va. Everybody wants to go, so I'll never get into that class. Can they make us a special bloggers class, I have to be in the city around then.
All the Best,
Liz
What beautiful images! So wish I lived close enough to go to flower school. So glad to find your blog! It's wonderful. Thanks for stopping by RHS. I'll be back here very soon.
Very enlightening and beneficial to someone whose been out of the circuit for a long time.
