If you’re having a party, most likely you’re serving cocktails. Or perhaps some really creative mocktails.
One simple thing that can take your entertaining to the next level is having monogrammed cloth cocktail napkins. All of the above are from Leontine Linens, the couture fine linen business, owned by Jane Scott Hodges. One thing I really appreciate about their napkins is the size. Theirs are 6″x8″ instead of the typical square.
Regardless of where you find them, think of the heirloom you’ll be creating for your children and grandchildren. And the stories those napkins could some day tell!
Who’ll raise their glass to that?
Monogram napkins remind me of an era when linens were passed down from generation to generation, much like crystal and silver. Love these ladylike necessities from Leontyne – a lovely addition to any party!

I am totally addicted to linens. It makes me sad to use paper (although there is a time and place for that as well!) Lovely examples of beautiful linens. I love finding old ones in antique shops, the time and effort that women used to put into their linens still amazes me. Before the monogram machine! Have a wonderful day.

Very pretty napkins and the monograms kick them up to the next level. I always use cloth napkins, even for a quick sandwich for lunch during the week–one more little way to go green.

Does a staff come with those for ironing? I have some given to me by my Mother that I love but I do think that perhaps a set of napkins are in order once the renovation is done….in a year! 🙂
Personalized items really add so much history to a home. I do love the way you think, heirlooms, flowers, pretty things on display.

Lovely napkins…and beautiful monograms….I received a lovely set with my monogram as a wedding gift– and thought it was such a perfect gift for a new couple! Take care, Caroline
I love this idea…I have it on my list of things I want for myself lol! I only know one person in my real life who would actually appreciate something like this and know what the workmanship means.
These are beautiful! I wish I had my grandmother's skill so I could make my own.
Ahhh, be still my heart – monograms!

You are preaching to the choir down here in the South. Monograms are a part of every Southern Lady's linen collection and Leontine does it best!!
