I try to keep a stash of gift tags on hand, so that it’s quick and easy to put together a holiday gift.
It’s especially easy, when the gift come beautifully packaged….all I need to do is add a little sparkle and tie on my card. Instead of wrapping, I embellish.
My red monogrammed notecards, above, double as gift cards with a simple hole punch and ribbon. All I have to do is tie it on.
What are you wrapped up in this week?
Oh how sweet! I have water color paper cut for cards and paint little things on them. I feel better knowing that the paper is all from saved scraps of paper. Your packages are so lovely!

I usually try to have some emergency gifts on hand as well – but if I kept them wrapped I'd never remember what was in them – do you keep little notes on them? And i LOVE your beautiful red card – always help to have initials that lend themselves well to a monogram!
Lovely and so quick to do! Last year I decided to stop using wrapping paper (is that bad?) and use pretty white boxes and tie a magenta or green ribbon on them (ribbon color changes each year)…with a nice gift tag– I thought it looked cleaner and maybe I was being environmentally friendly too? Happy Wednesday! Caroline
I love all personal touches. Merry! Merry!
quintessence – I try to find gifts that packaged beautifully on their own…like the Nest holiday candle. It's almost a shame to put wrapping paper over the red velvet box it comes in! 🙂
How resourceful to use the gorgeous notecards as gift tags…love that!!
Hi Elizabeth!!!
Love your monogrammed note cards especially in red! I can see how they come in handy at Christmas. Perfecto!
Much love,
Terri
Great idea! I am obsessed with all of the label and tag options at Paper Source. It is like an addiction.
OK, now I want monogrammed note cards too! Its dangerous coming over here! 🙂
I am obsessed with giftwrap! Love it, and all the little accountrements that go with it! XX!
