Answer: My hostess gifts for last week!
One of the joys of the holidays is the holiday parties and events. However, this calls for a hostess gift. A bottle of wine is fine or a candle or a book….but I think everyone loves seeing their name (or initials) on something, as it says you chose it just for them.
I wanted to share these with you as they came from a source, La Plates, that you normally associate with….well, plates. But, they do so much more. Look what they cooked up for the blogger gathering, LAVISH, in Atlanta!! (So wish I could have been there!)
Another reason I love these gifts…is that they are so pretty, that with a little cellophane, shred and ribbon, they are “wrapped” and ready to give! There I go, embellishing again!
The acrylic bowl can be used now for popcorn, which is how I packaged it…with popcorn bags from Williams-Sonoma and Orville Redenbacher popcorn. Once the weather warms up, the hostess can use it outside by the pool for chips or salad!
Cocktail napkins give instant panache to a holiday bar. And, it’s always nice to have a crisp new set!
RED is a great color for a gift…as it can used all year long. Think Valentine’s, 4th of July, Labor Day and Christmas.
What are you wrapping up this week?
pop pop pop! you need a shop shop shop.
fab ideas as always….

Ohhhh, you're talking my language here! Wrapping up lots of monogrammed gifts this week!

You're SO right about red–it can be carried over to so many different holidays. The monograms are lovely.
Best,
Susan
What fun and creative gifts! And so thoughtful – shows you were thinking ahead. I'll take one of the first since it is my exact initials and I'm a popcorn lover!!
12 batches of chocolate snowdrop cookies for teachers and lots of DJH candles! Love your use of cellophane and ribbon – an easy way to add a festive touch to your gifts!
xxoo
so agree with you- red is the perfect color for gifting, it's in most every holiday color combo… except for halloween. {unless you head in that vampire direction.} 🙂
Great gifts and such happy wrappings!
Love these napkins, I have a post up today about napkins I just purchased from The Zhush!!! I do love a good monogram on anything and these are wonderful. I must take a peek. Cocktail napkins are my go-to hostess gift, thank you for the new source!! Kathysue
I love these ideas! Merry! Merry! xx
Darling hostess gifts…I'll have to add you to my holiday party list 🙂
I always try to find something personal for our hostesses as well. This year I bought jewelry. We all know the ladies do most of the work so why not take something specifically to them. It was fun and the loved it!
Love these hostess gifts Elizabeth!!
You have such classic taste!!
Elegantay as my Mom would say 🙂
Much Love on a Monday,

Elizabeth,
Let's just say you know how to "Celebrate in Style!" I too wrap many gifts with cellophane and a huge bow (the bigger the better!) I'm sure the recipients were thrilled! Love your style!
Love the beautiful gifts. Thanks for sharing.
