Time to roll up my sleeves and get back to work. Managing the household, the playdates, the lessons, the errands and the blogging.
Inspired by the many organized and colorful workspaces above, I set myself up today.
“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and the job’s a game.”
~ Mary Poppins
Here’s to finding the fun in all you need to do!
Love seeing where your inspiration strikes – your desk is a place of beauty and grace but that's no surprise! And with Jackie serving as a muse… who could go wrong? Have a productive, yet fun-filled, day!
xxoo
My Father always told me that if you do what you love it will love you back! Your desk looks full of grace and love! I have always wanted a "secretary" like Jackie O to write letters.
Have a fun day at home, I mean at work. Do you allow your boys to work from there?

So great…and so YOU! This just makes me want to see MORE!
The yellow office is so fabulous! I'd be so inspired working in there! Enjoy the lovely day, Kellie xx
I love your desk – very elegant yet usable.
The first image is so fun! Mustard velvet rolly 😀 And let's talk YOUR space, just as darling, organized, and pulled together as I know you to be! I wish I could claim the same eureka, but for now we have the phone, the subscription in common! Happy Day XO, Kel
Love your space and the quote is perfect! Happy Wednesday! Take care, Caroline
Good morning, All!! I have to admit, sitting down this morning at a more colorful, organized workspace is a good way to start the day!
Wishing you all well as you begin yours!!!
xo Elizabeth
Elizabeth,
Last year I started (ok barely) a revamp of my office…inspired to finish now, yours looks fab!!!

What la lovely space to sit and work – so neat and organized with beautiful accoutrements! This is my BIG project for the new year – my office unfortunately looks like the Collyer brothers live there!
Taking some of your colorful inspirations to my space – unless you'd come do it for me!!
xo Cathy
So funny – I just finished organizing my office. I LOVE that first office… I've been searching for those clear lucite trays. Any idea where to find them? XO
Hey Bentley,
Check Container Store…but I just saw one at http://www.plexi-craft.com – one of my favorite sources for acrylic/lucite!!
And, to answer pve's question — my desk is all for me! But, right behind/side of me is a large table for the boys. Of course, to my chagrin, they prefer to do homework, crafts, everything right on the kitchen table!

I found some – CB2. xo
Love it. One of the houses we looked at in our search had what they called a "Mother's Office" off the kitchen. I need such a command station, that's for sure.
Love your workspace. Doesn't it feel so good when everything is all cleaned up and organized the way you like? That always helps me get more done. You had great inspiration too. Command Central is definitely ready!
Keep posting stuff like this i really like it
EB – Sitting at my desk enjoying your posts! Suddenly realized I desperately need a comfy, functional, yet stylish chair like the yellow one! Do you know whose it is???? xo Nat
I just love your pretty, organized desk!
Great way to start off 2011.
xo,
cristin
Hi Nat,
I can't wait to see your new office! I did a little research and the yellow desk chair you like is a vintage office chair that was recovered in velvet. Perhaps you could do something similar – it would be one of a kind!
Cristin, Thanks so much!! Your organization has certainly inspired me this year!
xo Elizabeth
LOVE your office! Where did you find the pink and orange spiral notebook (maybe planner?)? Loving the combo and I'm marching right back into my home office to straighten up! I've been on a purge and you've provided the inspiration to keep going and make it FABULOUS! Thank You! Love your blog!
Great quote and I love your desk!
Hi Anon! Glad you like it. The pink and orange spiral notebook (blank pages inside) is from Dabney Lee! I was thinking pink and green…but Dabney suggested the orange…so glad I went with her suggestion.
Keep going with your office – make it Fab!
