Hats are having something of a comeback. Not since Jackie’s pillbox in the 1960s have hats seemed so popular.
Easter Bonnets this past weekend, Fascinators for the Royal Wedding, wide brimmed confections for the Kentucky Derby…..and perhaps a diamond encrusted tiara for Kate!
Hats off to an exciting week! What do you have planned?

Love hats– but they look awful on me!! Can't wait to see all the hats for the royal wedding on Friday! Take care, Caroline
I just adore hats!! I wish I had more opportunity to wear them. I would get one for Derby Day but I know it would just sit in my closet til next year!!
I love hats! I have to say that next to THE DRESS, I'm most excited to see all the hats.
Happy Monday,
Jeanne
Love hats! And you'd need a special closet just for hats to store some of these. Happy Monday E!

I am so happy hats are back. I just bought one to wear to a bridal luncheon on Friday. My mom wore some amazing hats throughout the 80s/90s!
I love a beautiful hat on a woman… haven't had a need to wear one like that is a while though 🙂
Also, excited to see William and Kate's wedding! Sure to be amazing.

cristin
Love these elegant hats! Have a great week! xx
Hi sweets. Just easing softly into a new week after such a pleasurable weekend out of town with family, eating too much and enjoying it thoroughly! Much work ahead this week, but for today … I just might find myself with my legs propped up on the back of the sofa watching a classic movie!
We have the Foxfield Races this weekend, can't wait to wear a big hat! Mine's nothing like those fabulous hats though!
So fun and can't wait til Friday! xx
Love this! I can't wait of Friday! 🙂
Happy Monday, sweetie xoxo
Hi Elizabeth ~ I think you may just be on to something; I can definitely see a hat craze making a big comeback. Wouldn't that be terrific? My husband who's from the U.K. always loves to remind me that woman all wear hats when attending a wedding, NOT like the U.S. Hats off to an exciting week is right. I for one will be up to watch Friday's excitement. Thanks for checking out House of Fifty. I think anything Shari touches (as well of course as Janell) is a winner. It was a great privilege to be asked back in the Fall as a contributor. I feel like I'm dreaming!
Have a great week ahead and cheerio!
xx Deb
I think it would be so much fun to wear a big pink floppy hat!!! I need to go to the Kentucky Derby and really experience how to wear a hat!!! Love all of the above images, so fun!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and your sweet comments always bring a smile to my face!! Kathysue
I am and have always been a lover of hats. I adore them all, from simple to striking! I do think with the new princess who is young and can wear a head piece well that hats/fascinators/accessories will be in fashion for quite some time!
I am fascinated by the hats here in the UK. I will be 'renting' one for the Ascot in June – can't wait! XOL
