Voted “Top Art” by the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), the Longstreet Collection is currently showing at High Point.
Madeline and Robert Longstreet have combined their talents of photography and painting to create unique artwork, which have been highlighted in numerous shelter magazines.
I was particularly taken by their pieces inspired by the Japanese art forms of wood block printing (the kimonos) and ink and wash paintings (the branches).
I know Japan continues to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Wish I could be in High Point to see these beauties in person and yes, the people of Japan are in our hearts and minds daily…

What a beautiful post. A lovely way to honor Japan. I'm particularly in love with the cherry blossom pieces. So graceful. I'll say a prayer for Japan when I look at the cherry blossoms blooming in my neighborhood today…
I love the Kimonos…just gorgeous
How beautiful! My husband bought me a kimono from Indonesia once. It's so beautiful!
