They came early this year. The tulips, that is. A different variety than the Menton I normally have planted each November.
But, for one glorious week, everything seemed to be blooming pink at one time. Only the hydrangeas are still in play.
Beauty, even in nature, can be fleeting. Enjoy it while you can!
Your pink tulips are very pretty! I have lots of roses blooming now. This is my favorite time for the garden because so much is going on and the heat that makes everything tired hasn't yet happened.
Best,
Susan
Daffoldils and forsythia – how I would love to plant tulips but the deer would consider them a feast! Your garden is so pretty and pink…
xxoo
I always love seeing pictures of your pretty house. The tulips are beautiful this year. Thanks for sharing some tulip time with us.
xoxo
Purple Alliums are in bloom, as are multi colored tulips called "World Peace".
My Mentons did not last long this year, like they have in previous years.
Asiatic lily just starting to bud. And pink firewitch has bloomed about 6 flowers so far. Busy, busy…
YAY! LOVE that you posted this…your home has such MAJOR curb appeal…the all white facade against the explosion of color, SO perfect!
Your home is just GORGEOUS!!!!!! I love it, so elegant, so very stately and beautiful. Picture perfect, I love the flowers, the planters, so old world and English feeling. You have wonderful taste and a great eye. Thanks for sharing the goregous pictures!

You're have one major swoon worthy abode, sweetie! I'm literally drooling over here. The flowers are just gorgeous. I stopped by the market on my way to work and picked up peonies. I was tempted to get some tulips too because the colors were gorgeous and they looked so delicate like yours. Might have to run out at lunch and get some 🙂
Have a wonderful day, sweetie and enjoy this gorgeous weather! xoxo
Gorgeous…I think need to come out and see them in person:)
Those photographs took my breath away…your home is stunning!!! May I ask what kind of camera you use? I am in the market for a new one. I am not attributing your picture taking stills to the camera by any means…you have quite the eye! xx
Love your beautiful home and plantings. The landscaping is lovely – elegant, lush and colorful!! I'd expect nothing less!!
So pretty!
Home and tulips are both stunning!
Azaleas and cherry trees… but I am in love with all that love, lush, pink! Pretty Pink Tulips, indeed!
A gorgeous home, for sure! Love the lanterns which flank the front door.
Just stunning – no surprise since you have such great taste! xx
Your house is SO pretty. I'd rather be having a glass of rose (to match) in your yard than sit in my office right now!
My tulips are a bit slow this year but my daffies are all out and perfectly yellow!
Oh my goodness…what a charming picture your home paints! I'm so delighted to find your blog.
I love just as much the day I illustrated it. What a charming spot you have and all those tulips seem tickled pink to be there too. Two machines are booming in my front yard as the renovation forges ahead!

Delightful with a capital "D" Elizabeth!!! SO ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! I have a few tulips and they're a yellow/pink mix, but that's all that's blooming right now. I have limelight hydrangeas in my backyard, but they don't bloom yet here.
