The secret to sleek, summer sippers? Why pretty paper straws, of course! If you’ve got plain glasses or better yet the old fashioned mason jar, then you’re on your way to easy, elegant entertaining.
I found the darling straws and drink flags at BHLDN. So many cute things…but at $6 for 24, this may be the most inexpensive investment in upping the style factor at your backyard barbecues!
Mason Jar+Lemonade+Pretty Straws = Hostess with the Mostess!
Shall we drink to that?

Cheers! We have had one of those straw dispensers in the kitchen for years – the kind where you push on the lower edge and a straw rolls out! Fun!

Very pretty – I remember paper straws from years ago. Love the glass lemonade dispenser. I've been on the hunt for one recently.
How fun! My friend and I went to dinner last night and both ordered "River Road Raspberry Pink Lemonades"–they were so pretty and pink with a yellow lemon wedge on the side!
That is so sweet and full of nostalgia…love the old fashioned paper straws, and drinking out of a Mason jar is the perfect combination! Beauitful pictures and such a fun touch to bring some old fashioned goodness to the table:)

I love this look so much we have started using it in some of summer weddings.
Lemonade!! I must have some pink lemonade to pick me out of the heat. Stylish straws are on the shopping list!! Come by and say hello, I want you to read my tribute to my greatest friend.
Best,
Liz
I'm swooning over the glass pots to drink out of, fabulous idea!! And I love the straws and flags, great to ad style indeed. Hope you had a wonderful weekend Elizabeth:)
Love these charming summer suggestions. I also remember straws with flavoring when I was little – pink striped ones for strawberry and brown for chocolate – easy way to get the kids to drink their milk!!
Yummm… there's nothing like sipping on a little pink drink in the summertime!

I LOVE these straws and used the pink ones for Ella's 5th birthday party. We still have some extras sitting in the cabinet and I love the look of them through the glass doors.
I love paper straws, too. Here's my cheaper source – 150 straws for SIX DOLLARS! sip away!!!
