A recieved a fun email a while back from Eddie & Jaithan….they were styling an article for Woman’s Day magazine and had used a note I had written them in the shoot.
A small thrill, I know, but still very fun. So today’s take away is….use the good stationery (this was my black “over sized” monogrammed card by Mrs. John L. Strong) as you never know where it will end up.
And….though I have embraced technology, a handwritten note is always treasured. Don’t you agree?
You sure know all the ropes for sending out notes with polish! I'd say your black monogram "drops anchor" and will be on my wall in my studio of all the people I am thankful for.
sweet stationery, sweet you!
(and of course sweet Eddie & Jaithan too)

Definitely a thrill…..and am a big fan of old fashioned stationary and still see the importance of hand writing things like thank yous, etc….I am always so happy when I see someone else who feels that way too. (another reason to add why we really may have been separated at birth)! Who knew your innocent thank you would become famous and see by tens of thousands!! Fun…..enjoy your day Elizabeth!
Awww…that is a thrill! Your note was used in the shoot because it was stylish and in good taste–so you!
Best,
Susan
ohhh, that is so cool. what a treat for your note to turn up this way! donna
A handwritten note is a treasure, and now look how many places it was delivered via the magazine!
xo Cathy…did note the classic monogram too!
look at you! Mrs. JLS stationery & being featured in print… you are one notable lady. 🙂
that is so cool!!!
How fun! I am a stickler for a hand written thank you. It shows appreciation. It is also gives the writer a moment to stop and give pause for couting the blessings in their life. I see it coming…Pretty Pink Tulips column in Woman's Day…the art of the forgotten world. XO.
OK, I'm the type, that this would have tickled me to pieces on its own that they used your lovely note..but given MY post, AND the fact that I am seeing you today truly has me a bit FREAKED…in a good way, truly…but Freaked nonetheless!!!!
I love this! I love your stationery too. I think there is a lot to be said for handwritten notes. xo
We just love it when things happen like this. Just the little things in life that put a smile on your face and makes you giggle. We feel that personal hand written notes are the way to go. It is makes the message so much more meaningful.
XO Angela and Renee
You know how much I love stationery and hand written notes. Just adore your oversized monogram. So stylish and classic at the same time. What fun to see it in print!!
I have a folder in my desk for all of the hand written notes and thank you cards I have been sent. There is one from you in there :O) I keep them all so when I am old and my son is going through my things he will see all of these wonderful letters and cards and hopefully be inspired by them. I doubt he will get that from my emails.
Oh that's so exciting! Congrats, sweetie. And you are so right. Nothing beats a handwritten note. Especially these days 🙂 xoxo
Nothing is better than a real thank you note. Email just doesn't cut it!
Xo,
Lynn
I think that today's technology makes a handwritten note all the more dear. Yes, always use the right stationery for the note – you never do know where it will end up!
