Today, we are dropping our oldest son at sleepaway camp. And, showing it to little brother in hopes he might want to go next year, too!
Perhaps with only 1 child at home for a couple of weeks I can purge some things, get organized and have some lazy summer days.
What’s on your agenda this week? Relaxing, recharging or rushing?
Elizabeth,
So true, we often need to find grace rather than perfection. I think a renovation can really test a perfectionist. I shall find grace in the last few weeks before we drop our sons at college. One son said, "the first week is going to feel like sleep-away camp."
Enjoy your days and stay cool!

Hope the camp trip is fun! Only a few more days left with all my guys home here – will be hard to see them off again. Safe travels to camp!

Love that saying…..makes it attainable! Good luck, busy week on the homefront and playing chaffeur to my son who is "off" this week from non stop lacrosse until Friday that is. Hopefully will squeeze in a day at the beach now that the temps are back to normal and we can come out of hiding behind the AC! Enjoy your day, hope your little guy approves of the camp!
Elizabeth,
You are grace and love that about you. Enjoy your week…is this the week of your mother/son picnic? I'm still on my extended stay of a vacation. I have running, paddleboarding and family time on my agenda. XOXO.
Sounds like a good week and you embody grace in my book. I have lots of organizing and purging in my agenda this week as we start to worry about moving out for our remodel. xoxox-Susie
I LOVED sleepaway camp, but my younger sister refused to go after one short failed attempt. Here's to hoping boys are easier!
So relatable! Now all three kids are home, and the place here is chaos! Incidentally, the dumpster that was here for our purge is getting picked up today, but still have that nagging feeling that I did not get enough done when I had the chance…oh well!
Happy Monday! I am having a slow start to the day as we had a busybusy weekend and all slept in and it's stormy etc etc. But I do need to pick up the pace this afternoon and get on with things!
I hope you have a great day!
My goal this week is to be productive. I don't know how mothers do it- I'm barely keeping things together with a puppy!
Definitely a rushing week, but soon we will get to recharge. Hope camp is a success!
What a lovely quote. 🙂
What a lovely saying…going to save this one! Crazy busy week here. Enjoy your week!

Elizabeth, you will be so surprised ! Before you know it, they are teenagers and you see them mostly when they are hungry!
Hope you have time to recharge!!
Xo,
Lynn
The older I get the better I get and stepping out of that "everything" must be perfect mode…but it's hard!
I'll be doing a bit of both recharging and rushing! My 3 girls are in swimming lessons in the mornings this week. It's crazy. Hopefully we can relax and enjoy some lazy summer sun in the afternoons!
Enjoy your week!

Oh, how I love this! And the bottom images are gorgeous as well. Enjoy your one-on-one time with your littlest one! I find it so interesting how different they are when they are by themselves …
I love this post, Elizabeth! Such pretty pictures and that quote is fabulous!
