This week, I had the pleasure of meeting Kathryn Greeley, at a book signing in New York City! Invited by mutual friend and interior designer, Tobi Fairley, I was thrilled to meet the author and have her sign a few books.
While there, a group of Kathryn’s friends from North Carolina walked in and surprised her – toasting with champagne. Now, that’s friendship!!
Isn’t Tobi the spitting image of her mom, Beverly?! Two Arkansas ladies sprinkling their charm wherever they go.
For anyone who loves to entertain or for the person who needs ideas and visuals on some fantastic party themes – black tie birthdays, blue plate special dinners, football gatherings, even a “study in pink” – The Collected Tabletop is the book to get!
Now, I’m going to grab a cup of coffee and go page by page!
How do you like to entertain? Casual or more formal?
ps: Don’t worry Mom….I had her sign one for you!
OK this is a book I must must get…right up my alley. Thanks for the intro! The book signing sounds like such fun! I love both kinds of entertaining but am most relaxed with easy entertaining….the kind that invites people in the kitchen with wine glass in hand to chat while I cook, that kind of thing…looks like a keeper. You all look fabulous!
What a fun evening! Sounds like a great book…will add it to my Christmas list! Take care, Caroline
"Table top" – now let's talk about how beautiful all you ladies look! Love your hair, Elizabeth and your dress…
You sure have such a flair for entertaining and sharing pretty things to inspire. Time to book a dinner party but before, I better book an appt. at my salon!

Looks gorgeous! (As do all the ladies!)
I'm more into casual entertaining, but we try to fancy it up a bit for special occasions, like our Christmas Party. Dressed up, fancy food but still plenty of people milling around in the kitchen!
Looks like it was a fantastic time! And I so need this book. Oh and you look gorgeous. You're shining right along with them 🙂 xoxo

I enjoy both sorts
of entertaining, but
with teens in the
house, we seem to gravitate
more towards the casual,
these days. Looks like
a great book and a FUN
book signing. You looked
beautiful, Elizabeth!
