Imagine filling your kitchen with the scent of roasted apples, butter and cinnamon. Ahhhh…just thinking about it makes me want some with my oatmeal this morning.
If you were apple picking this weekend and have more than you know what to do with….give this delicious recipe from not without salt a try! Delicious with yogurt or if you’re like me….a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream.
oh that looks incredible. My mom always made something like this for us growing up! Yum!

Have been devouring the apples this season – roasted, baked, in crumbles and in pies… so glad an apple a day keep the doc away (even with ice cream!)
xxoo
OMG this has me sooo hungry!! Yummy! Love apple crisp one of my favorite things but roasted apples sounds a little healthier and guilt inducing! Thanks for the recipe and for the beautiful visuals….a great idea for this seasons apple picking.
What a delicious idea. Love the pictures.
Sounds divine…I'll take mine à la mode! xx
Yum! Wish my boys still enjoyed apple picking! Loved the bounty!

I was mystery reader at school last week and the mom who had snack duty that week made these for snack. I wanted to sit down at the table and eat them! Missing cool fall days and apple picking in VA!
Make mine with ice cream too please! Need to go get more apples!

So funny! I'm reading this while eating oatmeal, and was thinking, "oh I wish I had some for my oatmeal," just before you wrote the same.
Apple picking sounds like such a fun way to spend a sunny fall afternoon – and what lovely fruits for your labor! XO
you know how excited I am to see this recipe! yummy!! xxo
Mmmmmmmmm! We went to the cider mill this weekend. Stopped by and patted some horses grazing in a field along the way and I came awayfrom the cider mill with a bag of mcintosh apples, apple cider, donuts and a caramel apple. When I was in highschool and we had our own apple orchard and pressed our apples for the best cider it started my love affair with fall and apples. This recipe sounds delicious, Elizabeth! xo

This Week: "Charmed I'm Sure"
It looks delicious! And I love how it doesn't seem to have a zillion tons of sugar like some other apple recipes do!
Count me in for some with the ice cream of course!! Delicious!!
We're going apple picking soon, so I'll have to pick up some extras to make this! Sounds delicious!
Oh yum…this looks delicious!!
Yum!! There is nothing like the smell of apples and cinnamon cookie. I have to try this! Kathysue
Looks incredible!
