What a thrill to have my dear friend and gifted guru of all things entertaining and design, Eddie Ross, as my guest today! What does the titan of tabletop love for Fall?
“Every fall, I go into the attic where I keep all my props and begin to play, pulling china, silver, linens and glass for the busy entertaining season ahead. Here are four of my favorite collections for the fall. Happy Entertaining, everyone!”
Thanks, Eddie! Your insider tips are the next best thing to having you come and set the table!
Have you started setting your table yet? I’d love to hear what you’re planning! Happy weekend, all!
My plans are lots of white, belgian linen, white plates, silver and pretty water colored leaves and hand painted place settings.

LOVE him… he is the king of tablescapes. Love the flatware from Maine! xo
Wouldn't it be so neat to take a peak at his attic!!! Sounds like a fun time! Take care, Caroline
Can just imagine the choices Eddie has in his attic of goodies!

I bet going up to his attic is loads of fun! I love the idea of the monogram on that beautiful ivory flatware, and agree about the subtle bling of aged brass…..and yes to aged vintage leaf dishes, I LIKE the way he thinks!! All beautiful inspirations…..
Thankfully, I'm spared the chore as we go upstate to the in-laws! But I'll be stealing some of Eddie's style for Christmas… Happy weekend, Elizabeth!
xxoo
I am with you Eddie on the brass candlesticks! I love them for my Thanksgiving Table!
Xo Elizabeth for sharing Eddie's tips!

Gah. I love Mr. Ross! So ridiculously talented {and seems quite charming}! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Agreed – the next best thing to having Eddie come and set the table himself! And how I would love a little Eddie magic the next time I wanted to create a dreamy dining setting! We will be celebrating Thanksgiving with my parents, so no table setting for me. Although I'm already looking for inspiration for a couple holiday dinners I'll be hosting in a few weeks.
Have a wonderful weekend, Elizabeth! XO
We are going to Paris, but your post inspired me to pull out different table and flower arrangements I've done over the years. I still can't get over Jaithan's birthday party.
Best,
Liz
Love this series, Elizabeth! It's an honor to be included. Happy Holiday Entertaining, everyone!

LOVE that Eddie. I had seen that bouquet on his site earlier and it has stuck in my mind as the perfect bouquet for my table. Thanks for featuring it.
I am conjuring up my decor plans..I see lots of sage, rosemary, petite tiger striped pumpkins, roses… and some gorgeous persimmon branches I bought at a farmers market while in CA last week.
I found the greatest articles for getting prepared for hosting dinner, as well as some refreshing side dishes and beverages in the NY Times the other day. Stop by the market for highlights and links!
Love these picks and the amazing Eddie Ross! fabulous! Have a great weekend!
Genius Eddie strikes again!! Happy Thanksgiving Elizabeth!

Love it all!! I'm also a fan of brass candlesticks and have several vintage pairs. And love the bone flatware – have seen many reproductions but there's nothing like the real thing!!
