I love the colors of the season, but I feel the need for a little palette cleanser. And, this elegant kitchen, by Caitlin Wilson, with just a hint of hot pink is hitting the spot!
I love the high contrast of the white cabinets and light marble agains the dark floors. I also love that this type of kitchen would have broad appeal. Simply change out the hand towels and flowers to your favorite color and viola….it’s yours!
Caitlin is multi-talented and has much more in her portfolio, but since this is where pink is celebrated…I couldn’t resist sharing this!
Do you decorate for broad appeal or do you choose exactly what you like, without regard to resale?

I love a "quick change" and I will scout out bright kitchen towels in Europe. My kitchen as the same sort of "quick change" appeal. Lots of white and darks.
I love the contrast.
I love this kitchen. Amazing what a few tiny pops of bright pink can do to change a space, huh? Hope your week is going well Elizabeth. xo

Funny, when I saw the title pop up on my blogroll this kitchen was the first to come to my mind. Always a favorite! Hope you are surviving the remodel headaches!
Beautiful kitchen!! But since I'm not a pink girl I might just have to swap it out for another bright – perhaps um…orange!!! 🙂

I think you should think "resale", but never live in a space that it's not "you". In another words, use things that can be changed easily.
This kitchen is a good example of that. I love it! Pink is there, but if you don't like it, it's removable. Simple.
Have a great day!

i love this look. it take so much constraint to plan a kitchen in such a simple palette (i just can't do it!)… but the effect of a simple object for a pop color is amazing!!

Love this FRESH kitchen!
Love the clean crisp kitchen. I gravitate towards super tidy kitchens. Just about any color would look good popping against the white. I decorate and design in a classic way which i think suites resale, however it isnt my consideration when designing a space (especially if the homeowner plans to live many years in the home.)
