Mid December. Literally. Where in the world has this month gone?
I’ll be heading to the post office tomorrow with another pile of holiday cards and my boys’ letters to Santa. Every year I swear this will be the last one where I scramble and stress all the way up to Christmas Eve. Yet, here I am again….way behind.
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing ideas for holiday hostess gifts and what Christmas means to me…via guest posts at two of my favorite blogs.
For now, I’m off in my horse-less sleigh! Are you ahead of schedule or racing around like me?
Elizabeth,
What no time for Yoga to find your inner calm? Eek.
I think Christmas does this to all of us, right….so much to do and it seems like it is gaining on us!
Do you have a "Holiday Home" book. A dear friend shared this with me and inside are all the holiday celebrations with my lists. Looking back and ahead gives me a great starting point. I shall make one for you to have next year!

Nope I'm with you – WAY BEHIND!! I'll be doing my cards this weekend along with shopping, wrapping and decorating!!
In denial all the way… Hope to decorate this weekend and focus on wrapping things up next week. Where has the month gone???
xxoo
I have had everything done for a few weeks. It makes all the difference to me so I can enjoy the holidays. xx
Totally racing a mile a minute and way way behind. Don't worry you are way ahead of me, haven;t even taken pics of my boys yet and have resigned myself to the fact that year, a first for me and shocking to myself, I will not make the deadline to send cards out…kind of sad, but maybe for New Years! I am just not going to beat myself up over it, I am doing the best I can and thats all I can ask for…..have a good day!
I have a mountain of boxes from online ordering in my dining room and can't seem to find the time to open to see what's come in!!
I hear you loud and clear, I say the same every year. I love you blog its beautiful. I will follow on my way out so I know the path back to your lovely blog. I hope you will find the time to come visit my place soon and do the same. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and look forward to supporting your blog in 2012. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
Just like you I'm way behind! Christmas shopping done and meats order for the holidays but that's it. Time to decorate soon I hope!
Dear Santa, please bring me a few extra hours in the day, please? I promise I'll be good and get ahead of the game next year…
Elizabeth, I'm right there with you. I haven't even started my cards yet! I think that December-time flies faster than the rest of the year!
Good luck with your list, I hope you get to enjoy as you go! XO
This months is running ahead of all of us, I know I will wake up tomorrow and it will be Christmas Eve. As for me, I am getting ready to travel but still very very busy!

I walked into my house after work yesterday, went into the office and looked at the desk…. where boxes of unopened Christmas cards were sitting. Oops! I had completely forgotten to write my cards. You're not the only one! We still have over a week left, I'm thinking its still okay 🙂
I did a ton of shopping over Thanksgiving weekend and thought I was ahead, but now I am so behind! And have my inlaws coming tomorrow for early Christmas, so better get scrambling 😉
The second I feel caught up, I realize I have a million more things to do! The hampster wheel keeps on spinning!
Done. I'm always annoying like that… I do still need to pick up some stocking stuffers, but other than that, done.
Jan
ha– racing around! Need an extra week, or two…
xo Cathy
I am racing around, Elizabeth. Usually I have a party the first weekend in December which forces me to be completely ready early…this year no party, and still Christmas shopping…
I'm racing, but have
come to embrace it
as my Christmas season
normal : ) Remember to
enjoy all of it, crazy
rushing around and all.
Hugs to ou, sweet friend!
xx Suzanne
I have a To Do Before Christmas list that is a mile long!. so you are not alone! Gosh I miss writing letters to Santa… 🙂
I'm totally done with everything! Sitting back enjoying a glass of wine and reading a book….ahhh. JUST KIDDING! We just sold our house THIS WEEK, are trying to pack to move in 30 days, enjoy Christmas (!?), get cards out, pressies for the kids, work projects done for clients by next week. Shoot me now! Reading lovely blogs like yours, pve's and jeanne's are what is keeping me sane at the moment! :)xo Dana
