Like a lot of you, I wanted to start the year off organized in lots of areas, but especially my closet. I’ll be shopping my closet more than I’ll be shopping boutiques this year, so it helps to be able to see what I have.
Having the talented team at clo-sette, who designed the 2 closets above, is not an option. Fortunately, they have created a line of organizational tools that let me do some organizing on my own.
I bought several sets of their acrylic dividers. Now my handbags don’t slouch, my sweaters are stacked and my wraps look as tidy they do in the stores.
Though I’d L.O.V.E a jewelry set up like the one above, I took a step forward with their jewelry case below. Perfect for travel or for corralling the baubles in your drawers. Available in 5 colors, this is also a great gift idea.
Some years you need an overhaul. Other years you just need a little bit of help…that makes a big difference!
Was getting organized one of your goals this year? If so, what area are you working on?

We are definitely channeling the same thoughts Elizabeth! I just a few days ago ordered some closet organizers and hope to also get to the container store, because someone told me they have a lot of good organizational tools there too. Nothing like opening the door to a well organized fully functioning closet….great ideas and inspirations here!
This is such a good new year project, and beautiful inspiration! If you do one splurge, buy beautiful wooden hangers that you will have forever and thick padded hangers for delicate items.
Happy home shopping and organizing!
LOVE the idea of the acrylic dividers – they still make everything look open and yet keep them from sliding around which always creates a huge mess in my closet! Thanks for the great tips. 🙂
It would be so nice to have a closet like those above but I don't. The best we could do was place more rods for hanging things. Great tip on the organizing!
Hugs!

elizabeth, do you remember where you got the acrylic shelf dividers? those are great. thanks, donna
Elizabeth, I LOVE those acrylic dividers… they have made the TO DO list! Thanks for sharing… oh yeah, gimme those closets – beautiful!
Have a great day!
I don't need that much shoe space, but my handbags need help! I have so many, and they're still loved and used, so I need those dividers asap!
Getting organized is theeee top priority on my list this year! Already took 2 boxes of items to the Goodwill with another box to go this weekend.
Happy organizing, Elizabeth. Our closet is definitely on the list this year – it's quite out of control. But I'm not the best at putting things to right once they've become a total mess. I get overwhelmed and don't know where to start. Perhaps getting my hands on some of these organizing tools is the first step.
Hope you are having a wonderful week! XO
Oh man do I love this post! Embarrassingly enough, organizing closets is my favorite thing to do.. is there a way to make that sound less weird?
Beautiful images! There's nothing more rewarding than walking into a closet that is organized and clean.
Congrats!

For Donna and anyone else who is interested, I got the acrylic dividers at closette. They have an online boutique and I just learned they are appearing in select Neiman Marcus stores – Dallas, Boca Raton. But, ordering online is so easy.

First, I would die to have a closet like the first two photos. I would keep it organized just to stare at its prettiness!
And that jewelry organizer is great! How perfect that would be for travel.
I will have to visit this company. Love the acrylic dividers!

Oh Elizabeth, you know I thrive on organization and especially closets that are pretty! Great post. Organized closets make for happy homeowners…truly creates smiles every morning. Loved seeing you today.
Organization and getting rid of a ton of things I don't need any longer are two of my top "plans" for this year. The images you posted are very inspiring!
Elizabeth,
We are preparing to move into our new mb and our closets are ready to start to move in and arrange. Lots of storage will be nice. Yes, I am in full organizing mode and also letting go of lots of things that I no longer need or want. I have been sharing, donating and tossing which also feels great.

Definitely! I have been organizing a little each day—an hour or two—for a more streamlined living. It's working, and I am feeling so refreshed…
Nice inspiration 🙂
