Ever get into a rut? Want to try something new? Well, for New Year’s Eve, I asked my husband to brush off his book on cocktails and brush up on a new signature drink for the evening. He chose a drink called The Ritz.
I liked it SO much that I snapped these photos mid drink and wanted to share the recipe with you. It’s that good. And, a great way to put that leftover champagne to use.
Fresh squeezed oj is worth the effort! Bottoms up everyone! Have a wonderful weekend!!
I adore your images….my dear husband has a business trip and will be staying at the Ritz…I think I may be a stow- away and order this drink!

Love the name! Hope 2012 is a magical year for you! Have a wonderful weekend, Elizabeth! xo
Looks delicious although we're hard-pressed to ever have any Champagne left over when we have it. A definite must-try.
Thank you.
I just copied this, it's always good to have some signature drinks to reference when entertaining! Happy New Year!
Thanks..my hubby could use some new additions to his "cocktail repertoire". Sounds yummy and love the name!
Looks like a great way to use the Ina Garten cognac I blogged about yesterday! And I'm up for any drink that calls for champagne.
Happy Friday!!
Xx,
Sarah

Sounds yummy! But do we really ever have leftover champagne? 😉 Have a great weekend!
Sounds delicious! I got my husband a bunch of cocktail themed items for Xmas…. I might have to have him start making me fancy drinks 😉
Happy weekend!
Love every ingredient in this cocktail – thanks for sharing. Love the mood of your photos too.
Sounds tasty and it's good for you too with that orange juice and vitamin C!!

Perfect for an Oscar party!
Sounds delicious! My new favorite drink also includes OJ–Use about 1/4 OJ, 3/4 Ginger Ale, and a shot or two of Vodka–it's a delicious frothy drink and good even without the alcohol!
This drink would make me fall off the wagon immediately – there goes my resolution to drink less! Happy weekend, Elizabeth!
xxoo
Sounds and looks divine…my only question is…what left over champagne!? lol:)
Delicious darling – I wouldn't mind sipping on one now! 🙂

Oh darn, I am one of those that tries to not drink their calories. Well, I may have to put that to the test this weekend. This drink sounds yummy!
New Year means new resolution. It's time to make proper adjustments to do better this year. Happy New Year!
Lookout, I'm going to a party tonight where we always bring cocktails, so this is perfectly timed for me. Sounds delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
