Hello, Monday! As I gear up for another busy week, I find myself drawn to the calming scent of lavender.
Perhaps it’s because I’m finally setting up my new laundry room with a few favorite items from The Laundress, like their lavender pouches. I’ve tucked them in between towels and sheet sets….and every time I open the door I dream of the day I’ll see the lavender fields for myself in Provence. Ahhhh….to daydream on a Monday.
Better get back to the laundry!! Do you linger for lavender?
Elizabeth,
If only our computers had a sensory button to emit such a lovely fragrance- I do love good scents wafting….they helped me get through those stinky teen boy years.
I even brought a yummy scent to the hospital when they were born. All the nurses loved it.

These images and the memory of lovely lavender scent has already helped me start the day in a calm and collected mood… I think I may have to tuck these lovely sachets into the boys laundry bin before I do the laundry!

I had my first massage this Sunday & have decided to do more things to help me relax, including lavender smelling things. This was a perfect post to get me started!
I adore lavender Elizabeth and love to sprinkle the scent on my bedding!

I LOVE the Laundress too, Elizabeth. I posted about their perfect store a while back. Not only is the store full of perfect things you need, it is addictive.
I have just mad a hand and foot scrub, and lilac is in the scrub. Smells wonderful and leaves your hand soft with the scent of lavender.
Happy Monday.

Beautiful pictures for a Monday morning. I absolutely love lavender and keep a few pots by my doorstep…which my daughter hates because it means we always have a doorway full of happy bees in the Spring. I'd like to plant them all over my yard.
Love, Love, Love
Lavender is a favorite site and scent! I noticed over the weekend that one of our lavender varieties is already putting forth a few blooms – they smell like heaven.
Hope there's lots of lavender-scented calm wafting through your busy week! XO
I'm a huge fan of lavender. For one of my bridal showers, a girlfriend made cocktails using champagne topped off with lavender simple syrup. I've got the recipe posted on my blog. Delish!
Love lavender scents! Wouldn't it be divine to stand out in those fields!

I love lavender and have several shrubs in my yard. Too bad they attract bees, but I don't care. The smell is divine!
Mmmmmm, lavender! I'm like you, I love it, I spray my bedding and closet in my guest room and keep lavender soaps in the room for guests to choose from, and when you enter into the room it smells so peaceful and spa-like. Have a wonderful new week, Elizabeth!

Love lavender, maybe because it reminds me of the first (and only) time I went to Provence and I feel like I escaped and became part of Peter Mayle's "A year in Provence" just the sight and smell of it makes me long for it! So so beautiful and such a wonderful scent!
Beautiful photos and I feel like I am picking up that lovely fragrance as I read! This reminds me that I need to get a few sachets for for drawers.
Very pretty and I will pop over to the Laundress!

I tuck lavender packets into my linen closet. I make sure that my pillowcases have their own little pillow of lavender so I can drift off to sleep w/ an exquisite scent.
The lavender fields of Provence are breathtaking, in all senses of the word.
Looking at your lovely blog and worried that I didn't give enough pretty pics for Bartow-Pell! There actually are so many!! Please let me know what you might need.
Love the May Day post and this one!
