My tulips haven’t bloomed yet….so I was especially tickled to see this drawing come home in my 1st grader’s folder yesterday. As part of their math assignment, they were given the option to draw a picture of tulips for extra credit. Perhaps a certain number? I’m not exactly sure.
But, aren’t they cute? This will more than tide me over until mine peek their pretty pink petals into the open!
Happy Tuesday! Wishing you bunches of tulips! Handpicked or hand drawn.
Elizabeth-
Sweet! I hope that will be on display in the new addition.

Aw… this is so pretty! I see a frame in the works.
Have a happy Tuesday, Elizabeth.

That's one I'd frame!

I love it Elizabeth and I can't get over that was drawn by someone so young. You have a budding artist in your home, love all the colors.
Enjoy your day!

First grader?! Definitely some artistic talent there. I love tulips (and peonies).
You really did pick a great name for your blog. They make me so happy! I used to draw ones just like that. We did have fun last weekend. I'm all about the people and not perfection.
Best,
Liz
How sweet and definitely a keeper! Lots of color and way to go on that extra credit 🙂 An artist in the making!

Now that's what I call art worthy of being framed! So precious!!! Love it! Some of my favorite art work was done by my children. I think you need to add that to a corner of your blog somewhere….
love this… even better than the real thing! Frame them!
How sweet.
So sweet! I'm sorry to say that my tulips bloomed … and then got decapitated in a terrible storm. Sniff, sniff. Last night I covered my peonies and hydrangeas in an attempt to protect them from the evening's frost. Ooooohhhh, I can't bear to lose those!
