Happy Monday!!! How was your weekend?
We are in the home stretch with the renovation….this last bit is just taking time. I think that’s how it is with most projects. And, my mother is coming to visit this week from Texas. So, even though the inside is not complete…I really, really wanted the window boxes planted.
You may recall, that I replaced the front window boxes with larger ones from Walpole. Then, my contractors made me one to match over the garage.
The last two sets of shutters for the front are made…just waiting to be painted. Almost there. We also decided to add a set of shutters to the garage, to frame that window box.
Tulips are on their last legs….but that just means it’s almost peony and hydrangea season!!
Wishing you loads of blooms this week….perhaps in the form of a Mother’s Day bouquet!
Elizabeth..it all looks so beautiful, elegant and stately. The black accents with pops of pink against the white are perfection! The flower boxes picture perfect…you have done a fabulous job and to me it seems like this process went remarkably fast (not sure if it feels that way to you:) In any case you did such a beautiful job….so exciting and congrats to you! Cannot wait to see more, and hope you enjoy your visit with your mom!
Elizabeth,
I can only imagine how proud you must be and your contractors too of adding such a lovely addition to your home and to your window!
How pretty!

Its looking so good! I'm sure you're beyond excited that it is almost done!
Planting window boxes in Montauk this summer! Yours are lovely! How often do you water? Each day?

Looks so lovely – classic, elegant, lush and colorful!! And so neat! Your house presents a perfectly poised picture for what I'm sure will be equally pretty inside!
STUNNING – absolutely stunning! (There really aren't any other words to describe how much I LOVE your home!) Paula x
They are GORGEOUS!!!
Elizabeth-

Happy Monday.

So gorgeous Elizabeth!!! I'm green with envy as Dan has been away most of the month of April/early May and we are "very" behind on yard projects! But, he'll be home today and you can guess what we'll be doing;) How exciting that you are almost finished… yay! Wishing you and your mum a wonderful visit (I bet she'll enjoy escaping Texas' warm temperatures for a few days!!)

LOVE how classically beautiful your house is and the hits of pink in the tulips and window boxes are just so charming! We are closing on our historical Victorian this week. It's painted a dark grey blue right now (not my color~bleh) and it will be a pretty buttercream yellow with white trim, black shutters and glossy black doors and porch floorboards .. don't know if we'll get that done this year or next, since there are also things that need to be painted first inside and floors finished, etc.! Work, work, work … but fun! 😉 Have a fab week, Elizabeth!
