  2. We are headed to the beach soon and I cannot wait. We did spend time outside cleaning out the garage, I finished painting some chairs for our front porch (never again) and the kids played in the sprinklers. It is hard to sit inside and get on the computer this time of year, isn't it?

  4. We were by the water – at an event a Dale Chihuly's boathouse studio, which is such an inspiring space. Sadly the weather has been a bit chilly, but the sun finally found us today. I think I may need to take my morning coffee down to the lake and soak it all in.

    Lucky you getting some sunshine! We were inside. It was horrible weather on 30-A! Our neighbors received 12 inches of rain. No certain how much rain we got, but I feel lucky not to have floated away!!
    Hopefully this week will be better.

  6. all i wanted to be was indoors, 98 & humid……makes for a very bad hair day!

    now if i was near water, that might be different, take that back, was even too hot for our pool, then again i love snow

I was outside too, but not having as much fun as you, I'm afraid … I was gardening, trying to ship the flower gardens at the new house into shape while my husband was doing some plastering inside! But during breaks I did walk down and sit with a cold drink by the water during breaks! Have a lovely week, Elizabeth!

  8. I agree especially on a day like today when the humidity is low! Yes we were on a friends boat yesterday for a good part of it and it was soooo relaxing. I feel like summer is so short lived, we have to take full advantage, looks like you did!

  9. My weekend was restful. I had a demo on Thursday night and rested all Friday and Saturday. Then I traveled to Chicago to visit my daughter on Sunday. I love being busy and accomplishing so much!! I love being outdoors during the nice weather too!! Have a great week!
