Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a fabulous weekend, doing exactly what feeds your soul.
Like many of you, I fell down the proverbial blog/pinterest “rabbit hole” and stumbled into an Alice in Wonderland-like find! Festivities magazine, a new collaboration between Tikkido.com and Frog Prince Paperie, delivers inspired ideas for celebrations by the home entertainer. How wonderful is that?
Below is just a snippet of the amazing party ideas you’ll find.
Need custom stickers, signs or invitations for your own party? Both of the founders can help you with that…so be sure and bookmark their sites!
Speaking of having fun, I’m going to begin “summer hours” posting M,W,F each week until the end of summer.
Do you have anything to celebrate in the coming months?

When my kids were young, I used to go all out for parties – now that they are a bit older, they prefer for parties to be at a fun place (not our house!). So now I am transitioning into ideas for adult parties! I need all the help I can get!
By the way, the 4th of July hostess gift (red, white, and blue beach towels) was a huge success.
Hope you have a great week-
Holly
I will have to visit, Elizabeth! You know that I bookmark everything. If I ever push the clear button, I am doomed.
Darling idea for a party! I will have to remember these ideas. My youngest is in college, so I may have some grandchildren in the next ten years!
I think that it is great that you are taking more time to spend with the children. They grow up so fast.
Happy Monday.

What a fun discovery! I'm going to have to check it out & pin away 🙂
How festive! I'm always on the look out for party inspiration, so thanks for pointing us to this fun new resource. We've had a whole lot of celebrating with birthdays galore the last couple weeks and more to come in August.
Good for you for taking some time for fun this summer – enjoy those summer hours, Elizabeth! XO
Hello, Elizabeth –
Those photos look like they were from a birthday party we attended this past Sunday. A party for two five year old brothers. It was full of balloons, presents, cupcakes, stickers and temporary tattoos. Enjoy your new summer blog schedule 🙂
Cheers,
Loi
Great find – looks like a fun read!! I'm of course in Holly's camp and beyond but I'm sure there are ideas to cull for older children and adults in this collaboration! Stay cool – it's a serious scorcher today!
Elizabeth-
What cool party ideas….I am trying to come up with something fun for our girl…who will be 13. I am thinking of a surprise….for her.
Great idea to soak up the last month of summer and blog 3 x rather than 5. I may follow your lead.
Stay cool.

Thank you so much for the lovely feature of Festivities magazine! We are *so* delighted and humbled by the reception the first issue has had, and are happily at work on issue #2. Future issues will feature more adult-centered parties, too.
What a great find – definitely something to check out soon! Thanks for the tip! And enjoy the summer break!

The party ideas are amazing here! I will have to remember this for future grandchildren! I used to love to plan spectacular birthday parties for my children! I'm also glad to hear you say that about your summer blog schedule! It sure has gotten harder and harder as this summer progresses to enjoy blogging and to have time to read everyone's wonderful blogs that I love so much! It's suppose to be done out of joy, etc….I think you are smart to set aside a certain amount of time for it! All my best!
Hi Elizabeth!
Wow! How fun is this?! Makes me miss all the birthday parties I used to have for my kids. I just love those balloons .. all the detail, so many great ideas.
I'll look forward to checking out this book.
So happy to hear of Festivities! It's new to me. Looks like quite the treasure. And thanks so much for the positive words about 40. I'm definitely not dreading it. The more encouraging words I hear from wonderful women who have crossed this threshold, the better! 🙂 xoxo
Such a cute party theme! Love it Elizabeth
