…a lot like Christmas!!! I have tossed the pumpkins and the scent of Christmas is in our home. We won’t get our tree for another 2 weeks, but the decorations are starting to appear and I’ll admit…the stockings are already hung by the chimney, with care!
Like all of you, I’ve been busy with houseguests, Thanksgiving and holiday shopping…so today I thought I’d share a peek at what I’ve seen along the way.
Beautiful arrangements with berries and fresh apples
A simple window box arrangement in New Hampshire
Shiny holiday ornaments
I collect Santas….this one might have to grace our tree
Adore nutcrackers…yes, I collect these, too
The first holiday box of gifts, ready to ship out today. Texas….here they come!
Do the holidays have you frazzled or dazzled? I’ll admit….I’m a little bit of both!
Elizabeth-For some odd reason, I am feeling like this year I am going to focus on the peace, and embrace the spirit of the season by not allowing myself to fall prey to the commercial demons.
I am always inspired by your dazzling posts and all the pretties that you inspire. I read one blogger who collects bits all year – red ribbons, red things that she uses to wrap and I thought that was smart.
I have a go to holiday box and I make many gifts which makes me happy as well as the recipient.

Dazzled by your pretty pictures and frazzled by all the family we saw over the weekend. Taking this week to breathe and get organized before jumping into the holiday spirit. Can't wait to see you and catch up!

Elizabeth your pictures are gorgeous love all the color. I'm a bit of both since this is the super busy time for my business but it's all good. Two more weeks and I get some time off to enjoy the holidays!

I am feeling both frazzled AND dazzled:) I definitely get overwhelmed but so far feel a little ahead of myself, which is a good thing. Have also started some decorating, the tree won't be up for another week or two but definitely doing a little bit every day…..which I think is the key. Now my holiday shopping is another story..haven't gotten a single gift yet, ugh! I have a lot to get busy with and am checking my list! Enjoy all the prep!
Frazzled and dazzled is a great way to put it! Love the santa ornament…you should definitely get it!! I also collect nutcrackers…they will be going out on display today! We've done all of our outside lights and put out a few decorations…tree can't happen yet! Too early and I want Miller to be home to help decorate! Loved every picture here! and loved this fun post!
Dazzled over here! It's my first Christmas in 20 years NOT working in the retail world. So I'm looking forward to the holidays at my own pace. We were out of town over the weekend, but I'll be tossing the pumpkins today and making some plans for the days ahead. I'm loving your little glimpses of Christmas here, makes me super excited to get started! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, Elizabeth. Hope the days ahead hold way more way more dazzle than frazzle!! XOXO
Elizabeth-
Thank you for inspiring me every day! These images are gorgeous.
Happy Monday.

Elizabeth –
The window box in NH is really beautiful, festive and simple! I love how organic and natural it is. Would love to see the rest of the house 🙂
Cheers,

Hi Elizabeth –
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
And now it's on the Christmas!! What gorgeous decorations!!
Enjoy your day!! xoxoxo
Thanks for your post. I loved the bouquet of red apples and proteas. In hot old Australia I might be able to use that idea.
Although I hate it being a hot Christmas Down under, I must say I don't envy you Americans. How do you manage to go from October's Halloween, followed about a month later by the huge effort of Thanksgiving, then turn around and do Christmas!! I wish you peace and non frazzled Advent season.!
After the long weekend, I am SO behind! Festive photos .. and that santa is darling and perfect for your tree 🙂
Lots of fun ahead!
I would love to see your Nutcracker collection this year! I have been collecting Steinbach and love them dearly.
I love this color combo! I know I'm Jewish but I love all the Christmas festivities, decorations and even the music. So fun!

Oh, I'm loving it…. ofcourse, I'm in Switzerland this year which means no Black Friday madness and such. 🙂 Looking forward to a laid back Christmas with less rushing and more enjoying!
Just beautiful! Especially loved the packages!
A little dazzled and frazzled, but determined to increase the dazzle!

I have to admit that I'm a bit of both…so needing to get started with my decorating, but giving myself a few days to recover from the Thanksgiving traveling…Happy Tuesday, Elizabeth!!
Oh I love it Elizabeth!! I also collect santas and the one you showed is gorgeous!! Love it!
