Will you be home for the holidays?! “Home for the Holidays” is the theme my friends and I selected for our big holiday garden club event that is happening today!
Many months in the planning, a few stressful moments, a lot of hard work and a few random bursts of creativity…the day is finally here.
Our garden club creates gorgeous arrangements…think amaryllis, orchids, terrariums, wreaths and fresh flower arrangements for sale. The proceeds enable us to give back to our local community in ways that beautify, educate and inspire.
Above is the front of our invitation, created by my friend, Alexis…I just love the little ribbons tied around the holiday topiary. We repeated that element in the response cards.
I apologize for my lack of visits to all of my blogger friends…but I promise, I’ll be back with renewed energy and time once this event is done.
Always remember….home and the holidays are wherever the heart is!
Love the invite! Sounds like fun, and if you are involved, I know its going to be fabulous. Enjoy…..
Those invites are simply dreamy!Anyone would be thrilled to receive one of those in the mail!
Can't wait to hear about your event! I just know it will be lovely!!!
LOVE those invitations! You need to advertise for your Garden Club more… when and where is the sale I had no idea.
Those invites are precious! My husband has to work Xmas Eve & Xmas night, so my parents are coming to us! The good news is I don't have to travel, the bad news is he's working too much.
Very well said, Elizabeth! Can't wait to hear more about the event! Love the invitations! Very clever and beautiful! Hope it all goes well!
i am overwhelmed by the beauty, creativity and simplicity of these invitations elizabeth!

Elizabeth, you must be so excited! I'm sure it will be an amazing event. The invitations are just perfect! That little green bow on the topiary is so sweet. Have fun and I hope you'll post some photos! Looking forward to hearing more…
XOXO
The bow is the perfect touch! Frameworthy, actually!

Thanks Cathy!
Thanks so much Elizabeth! How did it go? Can't wait to see pictures!
I like the little bit of green .. a very pretty invitation Elizabeth and I'm sure that the arrangements will be gorgeous. This sort of thing is a labor of love as you work together to create something beautiful that will in turn give back to your local community 🙂 Next week we will be participating in an auction that will benefit displaced women and children in the city of Seattle. I can't wait 🙂
Hope you will have a few pictures to share!
