Happy Friday and welcome to another weekend! Did you see this party created for Rue magazine? It’s a confetti filled Valentine’s party for girlfriends. The Kate Spade quote set the tone, “Playing dress up begins at age five and never truly ends.” How true….you’re never too old to dress up and have fun.
Though I love their version of confetti filled fun…with a big, bad blizzard looming toward us this weekend, I’m pretty sure we’ll be at home. And, I thought confetti-inspired party popcorn and pretzels might go over well with my boys.
What kind of fun are you sprinkling into your weekend?

I'm going to steal your idea of confetti popcorn and pretzels! What a perfect treat.
Hope you survive the snowstorm!
Since we're in for a major blow up in New England we're laying low and just enjoying it. The wood stove is going so it's warm and cozy inside. Love your idea of some colorful fun. Enjoy the snow and your weekend!

So fun! Have a great weekend Elizabeth 🙂
The only fun sprinkling around these parts is the white stuff..snow and lots of it! This party is darling and love the confetti popcorn and chocolate pretzels…fun!
Stay safe and warm Elizabeth!
I have an image of my daughter when she was little with an ice cream cone loaded with rainbow sprinkles. I think that it might be fun to paint that or have it blown up and framed. I love how sprinkles and confetti add a festive touch to a snow storm~
Stay safe and warm.

We're battening down the hatches too! stay warm and safe!
Love the happy colors for the Rue confetti party, Elizabeth! You're right, just what we need to see when we're in the midst of winter weather! Stopping by to say hello and happy weekend … my illustration calendar has been keeping me so incredibly busy, which is wonderful, but it feels like too long since I've had a chance to say hi to some of my blogging buds! Hope all is well in your side of the world! xo ~S
