So thrilled it’s the weekend! Tonight I’ll be in the city to see a play. I’ll report back if it’s good and worth mentioning.
This week, I received my personalized, signed copy of Gwyneth Paltrow’s new cookbook, It’s All Good! I dare say that the value of the book is already worth far more than it’s cover price. I’m actually looking forward to working my way through this book, as I had already started eliminating certain things in my diet and felt better because of it. Gluten and dairy are all but gone and I cut back hard on caffeine and alcohol. I feel better, without a doubt, but need to figure out how to maintain a cleaner way of eating. So….perfect timing GP. Seems she has been doing the same.
The hot pink version is for my main desk – where pink reigns supreme. The celadon version is for the desk in my bedroom. I think this is my new hostess and birthday gift!!
Finally, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s newest exhibit by the Costume Institute promises to spark conversation! If you’re visiting NYC this summer, check it out!
Do you have any great finds you want to share? Wherever you find yourself this week, have fun and make the most of it!
Hi there sounds like a fun weekend, I just saw Motown which was excellent, I would even see it again and going to see Lucky Guy soon which I am excited about. I have been way out of the Broadway loop but normally seem to go in spurts. Enjoy the show. Love the new stationary and wishing you a wonderful weekend!!
Elizabeth,
Erin over at Elements of Style did a great post which you must check out….I was picking up a text book for our daughter in our local book shop and two ladies turn ed over Gwyneth's book. I was in disbelief?
One book I love is "Get naked" about eating raw – I am also loving eating whole foods,
So many good things to choose from this weekend and my studio tour is where you will find me~

Hi Elizabeth…I was about to mention Erin's post on Gwynnie when I saw Patricia beat me to it! We are off to the Met tonight to catch the Impressionist exhibit – it's fun to go on Friday nights when they are open late. Enjoy the play and the sunny weekend! xoxo
Hi Elizabeth, I ordered (the unsigned version:) a while back. I've yet to make anything! It's filled with lots of great information and meal planning ideas. I always enjoy whenever you post about paper:) I think that's because I used to be a stationary, letter writing type and I've gotten more into on line communication. The pretty paper is incentive for me to organize my desk and put my favorite pen in hand!! Have a fun weekend.

Hi Elizabeth,
I went to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art the other night. Great exhibits. One thing I always love to do is look at the unique artistic finds in Museum Gift Shops!
PS I am having a Paris Book Giveaway!
All the Best

How do you like the recipes? It takes so much work to eliminate such 'staple' foods from your diet: very impressive!
