April is drawing to a close….yet it’s still freezing here. But, the one thing that keeps me going is the changing landscape of colors. Yellow forsythia. Pink cherry blossoms and budding greens. I noticed that when I’m out driving about, seeing this mix of colors makes me smile and realize that this is such a special season. (Even if a sweater is still required).
Then, I noticed….those were the very colors on my desk.
I wonder if that’s my inner life imitating my outer life. Or, maybe just colors I really like together!!!

Oh, yes, I agree! The wonderful spring blossoms around are balm for the soul. I love Magnolia trees!
When it's cold outside I pamper myself with lots of flowers in every room like you!

My dear husband has a ritual of bringing me flowers every friday as he comes home from work. I have the prettiest pink flowers and the colors surrounding me are green, pink, citrus lemon, lime, orange and a beautiful blue….

I have been doing the same thing while wandering around town – it's all I can do not to pull out my phone to take a photo of the beautiful trees in bloom…when I am driving!!! I love your desk vignette.

Such a pretty bouquet and it looks perfect on your desk! Our spring probably isn't as cold but it's grey and rainy up until about mid June. The green foliage and flowers in my home are a necessity for peace of mind. Wishing you a sunny day!! xxleslie
