This truly is my favorite time of year. Not only is my own yard blooming….so is everyone else’s. Every time I turn the corner in my neighborhood, I notice another blooming tree or flower that I hadn’t seen before. I think it’s Spring’s way of making up for what seemed like an eternal winter.
Luckily, my tulips seem to always coincide with Mother’s Day weekend. Here is how they looked earlier this week….in the morning and then right before sunset. New this year is a hit of yellow.
What do you have planned for Mother’s Day weekend? Wishing you beautiful bouquets, whether from your garden or delivered to your door!
Well I have to say that you win the prize for a beautiful burst of spring! Isn't it amazing when you see the fruits of your labour (planting bulbs etc.) ? Your tulips stand tall and proud, as should you;)
Gorgeous, I wish you would do a gardening segment and show how you always have gorgeous urns!
Good morning, Elizabeth….your gardens are stunning right now! The pink tulips and yellow flowers in the urns and window boxes contrast perfectly. Everything is so beautiful this time of year…I just love it!
I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day! I am postponing my celebration for two weeks until two of my three children will be home. Carter comes home from school on Wednesday and Caroline is coming up for the long Memorial Day weekend. I can't wait!
Enjoy your weekend! xoxo
PS…I hope your mother is doing better.
Jaw droppingly good! And those lanterns, love those outdooor lanterns so much!

Elizabeth,
I had to come back and say how endearing and inviting I felt the first time I spotted your home on Eddie Ross's blog. To think it was all when your blog was just a twinkle.
Just look at you now and your pretty pink tulips that had a hand in creating your destiny.
