Dreaming up, planning and delivering a special party for my boys on their birthdays is one of my favorite things to do. I think it’s one of the ways that I try to show them how much I love them in a way that a child can appreciate and understand.
It’s also a creative outlet for me. I can’t knit, paint or draw…am only “ok” in the kitchen. But, give me a blank canvas of a room and a reason to celebrate and I start to come alive. I gave some clues last week in this post about what I was planning.
After mixing and measuring…here is the formula for Tyler’s Mad Science birthday party!

P.S. I received the Traci Zeller candle and I LOVE it! I cannot wait to order some for Christmas gifts.
Elizabeth, I remembered that I had missed the reveal of the Mad Scientist birthday while I was traveling – I'm so glad I went backwards a bit to find it. You did such an amazing job! Your son and all his friends must have had such a great time. You really knocked it out of the park. I say that a talent for the art of creating something special is a very rare an important gift. Something that you have in spades. Well done! XOXO
