Feel like you’ve run a gift giving gauntlet? Still missing a few things? I am almost there. A tendency to procrastinate is one of my lesser features. But hey, I’ve found ways to work around it.
One of the best gifts I ever gave myself was Amazon Prime. Since you’re smart folks, I’m guessing a good number of you already have this. But, just in case someone out there isn’t in on our little secret, I just have to share. You pay an annual fee – it used to be $50 but is now $79 and you get free 2 day shipping for a year. Do the math. It’s a DEAL!
So, I think it also makes a great gift for the procrastinator or mega-orderer in your life. To learn more, click here.
Now that you have Amazon Prime, you’ll be able to get some fabulous gifts, wrapped and shipped to your destination by Christmas Eve.
Let’s go shopping…here are a few of my favorite things you can find on Amazon.
For the beauty junkie, Deborah Lippman nail colors.
May the force be with the little boy who LOVES Star Wars with this LEGO mini figure alarm clock.
My 9 year old asked for these Minecraft paper crafts, so I know it’s a winner!
Every little girl I know has or wants a Rainbow Loom. Boys like them, too. Great for all those winter days indoors.
What’s old is new again. What tween wouldn’t love instantaneous photos with this Polaroid ? It might even trump their Instagram. Ok, probably not, but it’s fun!
For the recent grad or the person who loves to “fix things” this set will have them ready for anything!
Don’t forget your favorite 4 legged friend. Camo is IN and will definitely elicit some smiles on dog walks.
Whether you have company coming and want the house to smell amazing or need a few more hostess gifts, this is my favorite holiday scent!
And, remember this month’s mantra. Stay warm. Stay calm. Stay merry!!!

Love Amazon prime…it has saved me many times when in a gift giving pinch! I love the camo pet jacket and Nest candles are one of my favorites..burned a holiday candle just yesterday. I too, am wrapping things up….literally and figuratively, last big day of shopping today..and hopefully I will be done with at least the gift buying part! Good luck getting things done:)
Seriously, I don't know what I would do without Amazon Prime. I've got the procrastination gene, too, and they saved me more than once. Good luck getting things wrapped up. Love the mantra! Sending warm, calm and merry wishes! XOXO
I don't know what I would do without my Amazon Prime…as nice as it is to shop local, sometimes the "zon" is just the only way to go. Good luck with all you need to get done – I am right there with you(I wrapped for five hours yesterday!). xoxo
So funny Elizabeth.. I am sitting here having my morning coffee and telling my Mom that the only shopping I've done is via Amazon (prime) :);) Entertaining and work has prevented me from getting out to shop. Today is my last day at the office and I'm SO looking forward to hunkering down with the family and getting last minute stuff done. As for your list, I love the NEST candle and I've got some of the DL polish:) Great ideas
Have fun with all of the holiday festivities and enjoy the time with your family! xxL
A great idea for a gift – we're huge Amazon Prime fans and have no idea how the company makes any money on us! We've also discovered Amazon Smile where a percentage of each purchase is donated to our favorite charity (ours happens to be the rowing club where the boys row.) Now that shopping is done, wrapping is next… Whew!
xxoo
C + C
At about this point every year, I am done with my shopping…but I get into a panic that I don't have enough or have unequal amounts for my kids. SO I go out and buy more, and end up with too much! This year I spent an hour on the last day all three of my kids were in school, and sorted everything out, did a practice run on the stockings, and came to the conclusion that I was in great shape (with the exception of one last item for my youngest, which has since been purchased). I now feel good and don't have to rush out to do panic shopping!
I must admit that I use Amazon prime extensively – it is the best deal. I had dinner with some people last week who said that they order everything of Amazon, down to toothpaste and toilet paper! I have heard Amazon has never turned a profit, though…maybe in part because of Prime?
