It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The outside of our house is decorated, with magnolia and red berries playing the starring role. Though similar to what we’ve done in years past, we’ve changed things a little. The lacquered red magnolia wreath, from the Magnolia Wreath Company, is a fun new addition. They also come in silver, gold, pink, key lime, white and other colors.

Our interiors are about 90% complete. At the rate I’m going, I’ll be finished just in time for our holiday guests to arrive. I just added garland to the dining room buffett and love the effect. Glassybaby is always festive…this one is called Rudolph. How appropriate!
You’ll find lots of sparkle on our tree and throughout the house. Must be my Texas roots. The M you see on the tree is one of many letters we have hung. One for everyone in the family. I think these are great as ornaments, but just as versatile as a place card tied on a napkin or tied on a gift, using either the first or last initial for the recipient. Find them for $3.50 at Pottery Barn!
How does your holiday house look? Are you finished decorating and on to enjoying the season? I’m not quite there, but working toward the day where I sit by the fire and relax!
STUNNING! and yes I meant that to be in caps. Will have to do a drive by.
Oh Elizabeth, it looks just gorgeous. Wow, your guests are going to feel so special. I love that red wreath, such a show stopper. And Molly looks sweetly festive, too. The inside of our house is done (but I could use a Rudolph glassbybaby or two, but the outside is so not. We've been going through an unseasonably cold snap here, and I've been staying indoors – warm weather is on it's way, though so I plan to get out there this week. Photos to come… Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us! XOXO
Elizabeth! You have truly outdone yourself! Wow factor here for certain.
Thank you for sharing.
