Known for his fabric line and his home-grown garden….he’s now raised the bar with his Thomas dinnerware line, based upon his signature hand printed “Thomas” fabric. Each piece, produced exclusively for Michael Devine by Marie Daage is hand painted in France by skilled artisans and accented in 24 karat gold.
Oh, how I would love to work this pink version into my china collection.
And, just in time for planning garden parties and setting pretty tables…Michael has designed a beautiful way to share his inspiration. His much anticipated book on entertaining, An Invitation to the Garden, will be released this March, by Rizzoli.
Did you notice who wrote his foreword? If Charlotte Moss lends her name, you can guarantee this will be a book to own!

Your posts remind me of a shop that I loved as a young child….full of pretty place settings, polished silver, ladies in suits, heals and pearls.
If you ever were to open up a shop, I know it would be full of pretties, heavenly scents wafting, fresh flowers and an air of spring all year long.

What a divinely pretty tongue twister to start the day with, Elizabeth! The pink china looks like it needs to be on your table. I would love it, too, but think the blue would mix beautifully with my Herend – what a fun table setting that would be. The book looks like a must-have, too.
