Flowers for Mother’s Day…that’s a wonderful and thoughtful gift. But, how about upgrading the vase to something more special. Silver trophy vases from a local thrift shop. A vintage champagne cooler. Mint julep cups. All can be used for years to come.
And, if you’re hosting your mother this year, how about gathering all the unused silver baby cups for a centerpiece, place holder or as a miniature vase from flowers? Something I still remember from my first baby shower were the silver baby cups hanging from the chandelier by ribbons.
My mom will be here for Mother’s Day, so I’m already gathering the baby cups so we can have a 3 generational celebration at the table! If you want to see our silver baby cup collection and how I use it, follow me on Instagram!

I am jealous your mom will be there, so wish my mom would be, though I am considering a "surprise visit"! LOVE flowers in silver and I am going to take a look at how you used your beautiful silver baby cups. Enjoy your day Elizabeth!
What a great idea!! I have the same champagne bucket and quite a few baby cups…I need to kick my flower arranging up a notch!
Have a wonderful week, Elizabeth!! xoxo
Can you imagine that my husband just picked up some fresh silver polish! Time to polish my silver mint julep cups and baby cups for a little celebratory Derby Day followed by Mother's Day!
Thanks for sharing yet again, another gracious idea to honor those that win over our hearts.

Happy Monday, Elizabeth! We are back from our move up to Maine. Btw, our moving truck broke down en route….spent the night in Tolland, CT – I wonder if you know the area? Love these arrangement ideas – so gracious and of course beautiful!!! Maybe some pretty pink tulips in a mint julep cup 🙂
What clever ideas, Elizabeth. Love them all! How fun that your mother is coming to visit and will be with you on Mother's Day. Have fun with all the preparations – I know you will make her feel like a queen! XOXO
Anything placed into a silver container becomes instantly elegant! Love it!!
So pretty Elizabeth! I have six silver baby cups and use them for all sorts of things but never flowers.. so I'll be trying this! I'm glad to hear that your Mom will be visiting for Mother's Day. I'm sure you will enjoy a wonderful day together and I can't wait to see what you put in the silver cups:) Hope your Monday is off to a nice start. xxleslie
I love this idea! Happy Mother's Day to all the fabulous mothers out there!
