Yesterday, I had the most interesting conversation, over lunch, with my 12 year old son. He’s pretty good with computers and wanted to talk about my blog. He had a number of suggestions, one of which was to follow a schedule. I try. I swear I do. But, I like to have flexibility, so guess when I write my posts. Usually, the night before. There. You have me. I’m a procrastinator.
That said…I kind of liked the idea of giving you a little more structure if you are a regular reader. Here’s what I’m thinking.
Mondays will be about “living“.
Wednesdays…something about “giving“. To give or something I can give to you.
Fridays will be “entertaining“.
Since today is Wednesday, that means giving. A twist on an old favorite. I love bags. I love customization. Now, before you think you’ve already seen this one…..there’s a fun little twist near the bottom.

Elizabeth, I think your son has a very successful career as a consultant in his future if he wants it. Love that he was giving you advice! You know I am a big fan of Pretty Pink Tulips and your point of view on the world – you always have fabulous ideas for making life lovely and see the best in things and people, which I very much appreciate. If having a structure gives you a framework to help you deliver even better inspiration, I think it's great – and your categories are a fantastic fit for what you do best.

Your son is already in high demand I see after this inspiring post! It's great that our sons can shed new light on our lives as Moms.
One son is busy working this summer at his internship and he teaches me so much every day. The other son leaves Sunday for his ROTC training at Ft. Knox.
What I would love more of from you are your sweet hostess gifts, your ability to entertain with such flair and then of course your passion for living with grace. Love that you always find the positivity~
