Yesterday morning I was down at our beach club – it was one of those blue sky kind of days where the sun sparkled on the water and you couldn’t help but realize how lucky you were to be there. A casual conversation with a friend about left over lobsters and lobster rolls stuck with me all day. I have a mild obsession now and am determined to track down or make some this week.
In my state of minor obsession…I stumbled upon The Ordinary. A James Beard nominated restaurant in Charleston (all time favorite city) that has elevated the lobster roll to elegant fare. And, I am determined to go there. Ok…maybe getting there this week is a bit of a stretch, but I’m scheming.
Who wants to meet me there?! I’ll buy!!!

I have been having lobster rolls or fish tacos every single day since I have been here at the beach..indulgent yes, but hey summer is short!
Besides once I get home…its time for a major diet, between all my eating on my southern road trip and this, there are many veges and salads in my future!

Heck yea…I am SO in! I have been craving lobster rolls and have been dying to try the new lobster roll truck that has been in Greenwich lately – have you seen it? It is called Lobstercraft and looks incredible! Also, we love the lobster rolls at Johnny Ads in Old Saybrook – it is a total dive, but OH SO good!
