I am completely smitten by the collage work of artist, Denise Fiedler of Paste in San Francisco. Denise takes vintage papers and somehow creates these charming works of art. I was first introduced to Denise’s work by friend, author and shop owner, Ted Kennedy Watson, who carries her work in his shop, Watson Kennedy Fine Living in Seattle, WA.
From flowers, to iconic landmarks to animals, Denise captures the essence and charm of all her subjects.
Her dog portraits were of particular interest….how precious are these pups?! She has prints of all your favorite breeds.
And, best yet….she does commissions. Here’s the one she did of our dog, Molly. It looks just like her!!
Not a dog person….fear not, she does birds, cats and I’m sure any other creature you adore.
And, she has a fun assortment of market items….this champagne bottle and cupcake caught my eye!
Want to make a smaller commitment? Check out her line of gift tags!
Need something with color? Love these city compositions. Especially great for someone who lives there or longs to visit.
Who knew the art of cutting and pasting could look so good all grown up?!
