Dressed for the holidays! I honestly spend more time thinking about how to dress my house than how to dress myself. This year looks a lot like last year (seen here) but we’ve added wreaths to all the windows and more red berries. Just a little more bling!
New this year, out the back door, are the metal orbs given to me by my mother-in-law, just dressed with greens and lanterns. So simple…they will be enjoyed until Spring. If we get a night warm enough to sit out back by the outdoor fire pit (and new heater), I’ll light them up for a little more atmosphere.
One new item inside is this gilded deer with magnolia wreath. I normally have my Kerri Rosenthal tulip painting hanging above the living room mantel, but we moved it temporarily to make way for this beauty. Just another way to incorporate magnolia and antlers this year….my current holiday obsessions.

We are almost done decorating over here – it always takes me longer than I think it will. We do a lot of the same things every year but I've added a Charlie Brown tree in the family space with homemade decorations. Love having a little tree in the room where I spend the most time!
