Are you feeling the franic panic of the holidays yet? I am. Seriously, it kind of sneaked up on me. I’m usually pretty organized but this week feels like a series of stumbles. Time to pick myself up and get back to important things….like gift wrapping and tree decorating. OK….those don’t rank as emergencies but I want to hurry up and get things done so I can sit by the fire with a hot cocoa!
Like finding pretty gifts and ways to dress them up. Stumbled upon Paper Lovely, where botanicals and letterpress live happily together and am feeling calmer.. Adore this cheery calendar for gift giving.

Just the WORDS giftwrap and tree made my heart rate speed up….I am suddenly feeling the pressure, and its only Dec.3rd! I think the blogworld can be intimidating because so many are DONE! I am just getting started (and slowly at that) but I am juggling many things so doing the best I can…..it WILL get done!
I am also better at recognizing when I need a self imposed time out to just chill or do something for me….I dont' want the stress of the season dampening the beauty of this wonderful holiday!
Cheers to getting it all done, beautiful papers! Love letterpress anything:)

The pressure of the holi-daze can certainly cause a little bit of anxiety to say the least! However when we remember the real reason for the season, we realize that "our favorite" things are not really things at all.
It's finding joy in our lists and gratitude in our hearts for all our blessings.
My Father loved to say, "Christmas should be more than just one day" a year.
It's true. Let's let it live in our hearts and feel the spirit carry us to a place of pleasure rather than panic.
Somehow, I cannot see you in panic mode but it does get even the most organized and thoughtful people. Assign your elves a few projects. wink wink.
ONe child down two more to go! I love those notes etc.. you find such great things!!

Oh, I love these, Elizabeth. So pretty! I agree, writing out a to-do list on some lovely paper does make everything seem much more in control!
I'm feeling a bit like you – the holidays just crept up on me with the short season this year and our party last weekend. The tree is up, but there are about 5 ornaments on it (the rest are in boxes all over the living room). The wreaths and greens are still in their shipping boxes on the front porch where UPS left them. Cards are still in the box from the printer. (Boxes seem to be a theme).
I think the hot coco may be a ways off, but I'm going to try to just enjoy the merriness of getting there!
Hope it all comes together for you this week. Thanks as always for another beautiful tip! XOXO
There's something about pretty paper as opposed to the standard sticky notes;)that make me want to make lists!
Yes, I'm feel-in the stress. It's too much with all the house construction 🙁 I think we need to stay focused on our personal tasks that need to be accomplished and not get caught up in ALL that's happening around us and who's done what.
Happy Wednesday Elizabeth!
After visiting so many blogs with completely decorated homes and presents wrapped and under the tree, I am in a panic. Today was going to be my day for getting the Christmas tree decorated, but no tree…definitely getting it done tomorrow! I always love seeing the beautiful papers you show – great gift tags! Happy almost Friday!!
