After the coastal beating we took this week, the serene work of Barbara Sussberg seems like such a relief.
Barbara’s intuitive sense of color and her ability to create textural effects from painting with a palette knife help her achieve a dimensional work of art that is also ethereal and airy. Originally from New York, but now residing in Charleston, South Carolina, Barbara finds inspiration in the warmth of the sun, her seaside surroundings and the timeless beauty of the East Coast.
Barbara’s series, “Coastal Expressions” will be featured at Sandra Morgan Home Gallery from February 7-March 28th and is Barbara’s first time having a show in Connecticut. This show is perfect for a beginning collector, so if you are feeling drawn to her work, stop by to see Sandra and Laird and learn more about the artist.
