Raise a Glass to the Weekend

What a week! Snow, snow and more snow. Planes skidding off runways. Pileups on the highway. Ice. School cancellations. I think it’s time for a cocktail!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I was styling this earlier in the week. But, I’ve waited until today to break open the champagne!

One of the easiest ways to welcome a new season or holiday is by changing out the things that you use all the time. You don’t have to redecorate the house, but a little ribbon, a little nod, or a little color change can signal something new is about to happen. Obviously, this little vignette was inspired by St Patrick’s Day but you could use whatever you like for inspiration.

Raise a glass to the weekend and as the Irish would say….

May your troubles be less,
And your blessings be more.
May nothing but happiness,
Come through your door.

  1. I think this is the never ending winter! Your bar cart styling makes me long for Spring…and the juleps have me looking forward to one of my favorite springtime rituals – Derby Day! Enjoy your, weekend, Elizabeth!! xoxo

  2. Elizabeth, I wish I could pop on over for a glass of champagne tonight – or that you could join Dana and I for happy hour at her house. You bar cart styling is so fabulous… you have me peeking into our living room to see if there is any possible spot that I could tuck my own cart! Hmmmm! Enjoy those bubbles and I sure hope that snow starts melting soon. We love St. Patty's around here because it's my Dad's birthday (and his twin sister's, too). My Mom's is the day before so plenty to celebrate.

    Have sparkling weekend! XOXO

  3. Elizabeth you are so right, just a few springtime accessories brighten our homes and ourselves tremendously!!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
