Today, a group of us are getting together to plan our garden club’s luncheon in June. With so much inspiration out there, it’s just a matter of which way we’ll go. Formal and proper or relaxed and casual?
Love the balance of the tight, more formal arrangement with the casual flower pot favors.
Dressing up this bicycle with flowers and a welcome sign would make a great first impression and is a great way to mark the house without using balloons.
How to handle cutlery is always a question.
Nobody does a better crudite platter than my pal, Eddie Ross. This one has the casual, farmers market vibe.
Love this update on the flower pot dessert. Chocolate pudding, topped with crumbled chocolate wafers and a little sprig of mint…simple and impressive.
So, what would be your style…wildflowers or proper English garden?

Dear Elizabeth, Fun, fun party! I am into both a bit, love wildflowers popping up everywhere and then some more formal borders to rein everything in !!

I don't think there is a bad idea in the bunch..love it all but would lean towards proper English garden. Love the cutlery tied with wildflowers though..so charming! And that last cake is just "beyond".
Sounds like a really fun event to plan for…and with you at the helm. I have no doubt it will be a blooming success:)
With all these beautiful photos for inspiration and your exquisite taste, no doubt it will be a luncheon to remember!! xoxo
Elizabeth,
You have so many talents! I love all your inspiration to create a fun and festive garden party. I always admire the English but then the Italians have a mod flair using food in the mix. I love the idea of keeping things fresh and wild. After all a garden is all about getting one's hands dirty!

Well, that is a tough choice, Elizabeth, because they are all gorgeous!! I love the first image w/ the chalkboard.

So many charming ideas. I like the idea of the Welcome bike at the entrance.

Adorable ideas!! I am in live with this English garden party. From where you got these ideas dear! I am going to throw a floral themed party on my engagement. Please suggest some ideas to decorate my party space rentals in Brooklyn.
