Ahhhhh, it’s the weekend again! Are you having friends over or just relaxing in your backyard? If so, you’re probably looking for something cold to sip. Last Friday, we hosted some fabulous neighbors for a little cocktail hour (which went all night!) and I set up two drinks stations.
The first, was specifically for farm fresh peach bellinis. Though prosecco works beautifully for bellinis of any flavor, I’m a Veuve girl and the color was just a perfect play off the peaches. Also…if someone wanted straight champagne, I knew they would be happy!
I had this great blue and white porcelain container and wanted a substantive floral arrangement, but it would have cost me a ton to do cut flowers….so I opted for this hydrangea plant and ivy, which has since been transplanted.
For those who preferred wine, rosé or a mixed drink, we had another table set up, so everyone could help themselves.
And, then we sipped and talked the night away in the garden.
Here’s to a beautiful Summer weekend…and sipping whatever makes you happy!
Elizabeth – Beautiful photos!! Looks like you hosted a memorable party!! You really know how to entertain with style!! Have a fabulous weekend…
Everything looks lovely, what a treat to go to such wonderful party. TGIF
Your garden is the perfect place for a beautiful summer drinks party! I'm a Veuve girl also, the label is always the perfect compliment to my color schemes. Using plants that can later become part of the garden is such a wonderful decoration and then serves as a happy reminder of a lovely evening. Have a great weekend!
Now that is what I call a perfect and stylish summer evening! All of your touches are so lovely and you know I am loving your blue and white:) Such a pretty bar set up….peach bellinis are a perfect summer drink. Your garden looks incredible! Thank you for sharing:) Enjoy your weekend Elizabeth.
