Boy is it HOT out there. Not where I am, but where a lot of you are, according to Al Roker. Whew! I’ve been there. Growing up in Texas where your skin would stick to the seats of the car, you went to the movies on a sunny day because it was a little too sunny and swimming was a necessity….you know the feeling. Blazing hot!
Well, the classic anticdote for summer heat is a tall, cold glass of lemonade, no matter your age.
Here’s a handy cheat sheet for you, no matter how you like your lemonade. Mason jars optional.
Of course, this little number caught my eye…made pink with a little rosewater and fresh strawberries.

Looks so refreshing. Where do you buy rosewater?
Hi Carol,
Great question! I found it at my local gourmet store, but also found it on Amazon. There is a bottle by Noirot from France that had excellent reviews!
Cheers!!

Elizabeth — I love all of these options, I think I see a glass of lemonade with watermelon in my future. You can also find rose water (and orange blossom water) and middle eastern grocery stores, and it is much less expensive than the French versions.
Delicious!
Funny enough, we got back on the lemonade kick again this year. I'm really enjoying it, will have to try one of the recipes you posted.
And I am sure you remember those NC summers – this one has been a scorcher!! Lemonade looks like the perfect solution! Happy weekend, Elizabeth ~
