Don’t you just want to curl up in this room? I love the mellow colors, the various seating arrangements, especially that conversation sofa, and the warmth of the space. No surprise that LUXE magazine also loved it enough to publish it and it’s designer, Marianne Simon, earlier this year.
Marianne and I met years ago at Blogfest, hosted by Kravet, and have remained in touch. She was another of the special friends that I got to see and spend time with during my time in Seattle. She began her own design firm, Marianne Simon Design, ten years ago and hasn’t looked back.
Doesn’t Marianne have a knack for really gorgeous, but equally livable interiors?
I think that’s one of the things I appreciate the most about her work. I’d actually like to live there!
Elizabeth,
I must admit that I would actually love to move right in to any of Marianne Simon's Spaces. They exude such a lovely all is calm environ. Nothing too trendy or out of place and everything has that "just right" about it.
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful trip!

Got to meet Marianne for lunch one day while she visited NY and she is a doll…a very talented doll:) So happy to see her work being recognized, it is beautiful and everything is as livable as it is beautiful and elegant.
Enjoy your day Elizabeth:)
Oh, my goodness, what a nice surprise to read this post! Thank you so much for featuring my work, what an honor. I had such a great time seeing you on your visit to Seattle! Loved every second of it and the dinner at Ted's was truly a treat! xo
